This is the same as Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, 75-90% of the classes are the same.

I'm actually an Aerospace engineer, and right now I work as a Spacecraft systems engineer at Northdrop Grumman. As a systems engineer I get to work on every part of the space vehicle which is kinda cool. I get to design different components of the spacecraft such as the propulsion nozzles, satellite gyroscope, and rocket cylinder structures. However, I'm more of like a "jack of trades" kind of guy with no expertise which is kinda not good for the long run. Right now I do want to specialize on one aspect of a spacecraft, but I just can't decide lol. I like every single one of those systems lmao.

P.S I do like your take on this video, if you want to become an Aerospace Engineer you need to love mechanics and things you can see with your eyes. I'm good with things I can conceptualize on both of my eyes and my brain, but not with things I cannot see. Electrical engineering is so damn abstract, and I'm horrible with everything abstract lol. Which is why I did so damn bad at my basic circuit classes and introduction to signals. (Screw those disgusting Fourier analysis and Laplace transformations, absolute nightmare for me)

Do you think taking on an Aerospace minor as a Mechanical Engineer would be smart? I love mechanics and that side of engineering, so that's why I'm a MechE, but I also love and want to understand aerodynamics more so that I can apply those principles to high performance racing. I'm definitely the naive freshman right now, but a dream job would be some sort of car engineer that does some sort of race engineering, but on top of that is very well versed in aerodynamics. My mind goes right to things like F1 and endurance prototypes, where aerodynamics are a massive part of the success of the car, and that's really interesting to me.

Thanks for the key point here that instead of just googling and having a vague idea of a field, try to get information and experience of what really happens in the real world!!!

I completed my Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering from Bangladesh. I have always been passionate about space research and would one day love to work for in the Space industry. Now, I want to do my MS in the USA. However, I have seen that in most universities, Space research and projects funded by NASA are mainly done in the aerospace department and very few projects are being done in electrical engineering department. Now, I am thinking should I switch to aerospace engineering or not. What is your suggestions in this situation?

Hey Ali bro.... I really liked your video... I have a doubt that, i would really like both aerospace and computer science eng but i am planning to do bachelor's in computer science engineering specialized in information security and after that with some experience on that field i am thinking to pursue master's and phd in aeropace engineering and like everyone dreaming about going to space and rockets... How do you think about this idea from my little knowledge .... Can you please give me a advice
And you earned one more subscriber 🙃
Thank you!!

Perfect combination is electrical engineering with relation to space (antennas, satellites…).

Aerospace never really interested me as much as EE although I do admit a lot of cool things has come out of Aerospace like the SR-71 blackbird (I wonder if they’ll ever make aircrafts that can match or surpass it’s speed 🛩) I also think Aerospace has some of the most weed out classes of any of the Engineering majors making it even more difficult than most of them. Maybe one day when we get better at building rockets 🚀 and travel further in space 🌌 the whole Aerospace field will get lots of demand but as for now I think it’s progressing kinda slowly 🐢 That’s not to say I don’t think there’s any room left for innovation in the field of mechanics or Aerospace it’s just that they’ve already been around for thousands of years. They’re tried and tested fields (whereas EE has been around for only a few centuries) so I find it a bit harder to imagine what mechanics based Engineering fields might bring about in the future 🤔
