Ikea does not have GERTON tabletop anymore. I could not find any tabletop on IKEA website with Beechwood.

Gerton is no longer available, only some thin pieces of crap with ugly corner radius, for the same price as the Gerton. Ikea, increasing quality and value as always!

Wonder if you could fit an L-shaped piece of wood to a normal standing desk frame? Maybe with some support struts underneath the L part?

But the funny thing is... The cranking is also a health benefit as it helps you take a break as well as do some workout... Which is needed for these days that we are very much not active

I love the idea but hate when the desk wobbles back and forth, especially when I use a wheel or flightsticks, but the 4legged sit stand frames are stupidly expensive

electric adjustable standing desks are actually highly customizable... and pretty affordable for just the legs and motors

I was mainly looking for some DIY desk frame ideas, but stumbled upon your video. That table top you picked is the exact size I need, so I just went to IKEA site. Sadly these aren't available to get in my country. What a sad moment :(

Standing desks are a fad. Standing in place is just as bad as sitting. You are better off doing some light exercise every 30 in or so.
