The building at the beginning is Doheny library in USC! ❤✌️

ОтветитьLady Bo Boread looks like a solid pick for rowing. Was SNL doing some foreshadowing?
ОтветитьIs that Bobby Lee in a wig?
ОтветитьI love the aunt Becky thing at the end 😂 on how she attempted to bribe
ОтветитьChief Ohnohedidn't....
done. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This sketch is so completely random
ОтветитьOh. This reminds me that I'm going to miss Cecily.
ОтветитьHis name was Johnny but the second time he’s mentioned they called him Jerry
ОтветитьSee! That's how you do a punchline!
ОтветитьChief "Oh no he didn´t"
ОтветитьClass of 2023 woo woo !!!! 🍾🥂
ОтветитьRemember when SNL was funny?
ОтветитьWhos looking at this after the Affirmative Action rule being overturned?
ОтветитьHa! And isn't this ironic, given last week's SCOTUS ruling re affirmative action but not legacy admission.
ОтветитьCame here after affirmative action was overturned.
ОтветитьCANT MAKE THE TRANS JOKES ANYMORE 😂😂😂❤️
ОтветитьBAN LEGACY ADMISSIONS!!!!! BAN NEPOTISM!!!!!
MERIT ABOVE ALL ELSE!!!!!!
AFFIRMATIVE ACTION VS LEGACY! BAN LEGACY NOW!!!!!
ОтветитьAffirmative Action only slightly counterbalances the dynastic-- generating ADMISSION PRIVILEGES OF (almost entirely white) LEGACY ADMISSIONS (granted to children of ALUMNI, with no regard for merit.). These are mostly in private colleges and universities, but non-merit admissions for children of MAJOR DONORS also occur at some state universities.
I don't see much discussion of how many laws and policies support the development and maintenance of DYNASTIES, GIVING AN ENDURING, AND GENERALLY CUMULATIVE, ADVANTAGE TO CERTAIN FAMILIES. Those families are the "nobility" of Capitalism. And they dominate the boards of corporations, private and public universities, politics, media, and especially financial institutions.
These LEGACY ADMISSIONS ARE ALMOST ALWAYS WHITE. YOUR ANCESTORS' MERIT (and advantages) ARE NOT YOUR MERIT.
The dirty secret about LEGACY ENROLLMENTS is that they LOWER THE CURVE for the rest of us. Harvard, Princeton, and Yale are notorious for LEGACY students who party hardy, and earn the "gentleman's C."
Commonly, "A" students become professors and researchers, "B" students become vice -presidents or entrepreneurs, and "C" students become board members at Grandfather's corporation or are placed as board members at a non-profit funded by their family for the purpose of giving Jr. a "respectable" position where they can't hurt Grandfather's business.
So AFFIRMATIVE ACTION IS NOT THE OPPOSITE OF MERIT ADMISSIONS.
Let's begin to focus our social and economic analysis on the policies and laws which create and maintain DYNASTIES. There is a reason why .001% controls most of the nation's wealth.
If your ancestors' wealth was based on Piracy, Slavery, Genocide, or other crimes, how can you claim that your advantage was based on MERIT?
America rejected inherited "nobility." Let's dismantle it.
Let's boycott all Asian businesses
ОтветитьLet's boycott all Asian businesses
ОтветитьI’m laughing how affirmative actions got canceled today but there barely any restrictions to donators children/rich people children’s
Ответитьsomehow this skit means a little more this week....hello!
ОтветитьClearly the most merit is held by white legacy applicants. Grandfather clauses and bribes are the highest form achievement and represent 60% of all affirmative action.
Watch and see how many Universities ban Legacy consideration in admissions now SCOTUS has outlawed it. 0.01 % will be my guess. Because this is all about "merit".
In the end, Chris Redd’s character is either clueless, or the only person who truly doesn't see race! 😅😅😅
ОтветитьSandra is the best
Ответитьwhile this is a parody it is still a good example of why America should not have admission boards.
ОтветитьI've seen this video's thumbnail for years and I just finally decided to click on it ....🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓
ОтветитьOMG! This skit is hilarious!!!
ОтветитьLouisa hasn't stabbed anyone yet, and I'm starting to hate that about her! 😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьJeez this one is so far fetched it's true
ОтветитьThis skit is so chaotic.
ОтветитьWhy and how was this cut for time😂
ОтветитьLol so sad that the cop was insulted by the admission staff and that they all judge each student appearances . Funny skit loved it!
ОтветитьGreat twist at the end 😂
Ответить"Are we confident that's not a boy in a wig?"
I'm from the future and they're all boys in wigs now 😂
"well, you mean this whole time she wasn't really asian?....God"
cop: what???
i laughed at that 🤣
“In light of,” not “in lieu of”
ОтветитьThe irony of this skit is Sandra’s character sat through all the biased decisions and then arrested them for Asian bias. Similar to the whole discussion about unfair admissions practices singling out other minorities instead of legacy and wealth based decisions on admission that impact access much more.
Ответить“Chief Oh-No-He-Didn’t” literally knocked the wind out of me!😂🤣😂🤣
ОтветитьConchauckelin out!!!!
ОтветитьCheif Oh No He Didn’t. Stop giving the GOP ideas.
Ответитьclass of 2023 is graduating in a few months ... time really flies by
ОтветитьIs Yale Accredited ?
ОтветитьThey’re graduating this year
Ответитьit's 2023
ОтветитьThe Harvard lawsuit is about Asian have to have much higher scores, and Black only need to have much lower score. Everyone has no fear making fun of Asian, White, but nobody dare to make fun of Black. Am I wrong?
ОтветитьI dropped out of college and discovered the gravity of psychology, so don't worry about it
