ОтветитьHas the algorithm told you about Autism today?
ОтветитьIts not autism your just dumb 😂😂
ОтветитьI was born in Mongolia in the late 1980s. In our apartment complex there was this kid who was rumored to be excellent in math and physics and he would go on international math and physics competitions but he couldn’t find his home from school and vice versa. His mother always took him to school and assisted him everwhere he went. Everyone thought he was mentally ill but couldn’t settle there because he was extremely smart. He went to the US later and now he works at Apple as an engineer in the iMessage department
ОтветитьI don’t agree with the idea of a normal person, or that autism and ADHD are entirely detrimental to a person or how they should view themself. I get that it feels nice to find a label for intangible things, especially if it’s how you identify people, but because Autism and ADHD are chronic and often last one’s whole life, then why feel like you have to be something else?
ОтветитьOk after this I am 100% sure I'm not autistic!
Thanks for the info
It could be that women are better at masking but its more likely that autism is more common in men. I mean theres more evidence to suggest that than there is evidence that women mask better. If women mask better then how you would know that they mask better? because it would have been masked. Thats why they say women "may" be better at masking, its just a complete guess. Theres no way of possibly knowing.
Sometimes I think some people get offended by the statistics that show men have a monopoly on autism so come up with this idea that women are just as autistic and are in fact "better" at hiding it. Not only does this concept remove an area of male dominance but it infers a superiority in women. Maybe, just maybe autism is more common in males, or another way of looking at it... males are better at communicating their autistic traits.
my son have autism
ОтветитьIt was a great video
ОтветитьHey I have autism and I don’t suffer from it. I kinda like it actually because I have something that is rare also yes I do kind of run out of things to say like when I make some videos
ОтветитьWhenever I go back to this topic I get really irritated
ОтветитьI have autism but I don’t know what type, I think my type is Asperger’s Syndrome cause in my class I’m very good at math and everyone seems to struggle.
ОтветитьQuestion.... Are people on the Spectrum likely to end friendships and cut ties with everyone periodically?
I ask because I had a friend on the Spectrum, and she would do that every 8 months and move away. Her ex boyfriend explained that she did that.
I think girls just go undiagnosef
ОтветитьWritten by someone who never had it
ОтветитьIf it affects boys more, it seems it wouldn't be something to do with the Y chromosome but the X chromosome instead, like colorblindness.
ОтветитьI have my things about me , that are explained in this video but I wouldn't consider myself autistic. There are people out there who clearly have autism and to be like hey me and you are the same seems weird. I would feel no different than the people on tiktok faking a disorder
ОтветитьI have autism and my friend has autism
ОтветитьI have autism
ОтветитьI like to sniff printed papers, re-check my comments’ grammar and vocab, over-interested to cars, have potentials in learning music since I can play notes by discovering the sound, and I cannot dating women comfortably even though I got introduced by my friends. I dont know if these are the symptoms of autism……
ОтветитьI agree with other commenters that females, (especially in the past), have been overlooked for being autistic. One reason may be that we are more likely to try to ,"fit in", and mimic behaviours that are acceptable and hide non acceptable behaviours. Possibly being more sensitive to criticisms of others and changing accordingly. Hiding stims and going silent. Thus being perceived as shy, odd, non-athletic or a bit clumsy, but not autistic. Times are changing but for most autistic women over 19 in my country, Canada, there is still no way of getting an autism diagnosis unless you are able to pay over $2000 for a private company or are completely government dependent and qualify for funding. Be interested to know what other countries are doing to help autistics, (both men and women), get diagnosed and support services.
ОтветитьWell it us a spectrum disorder. People I've met growing up that have the worst form of it are incredibly strange I knew a kid named Russell who had it bad. He would walk around and slap himself on his stomach and all around not speaking coherently. I felt bad for him but he was a kind kid just suffering from a mental disorder so bad
ОтветитьHonestly, i have never met an autistic boy. But I have met atleasttt 20 autistic girls, I don’t believe it’s more common in boys 🤷🏻♀️
ОтветитьI'm quite sure my parents are autistic and i can see that on one of my brother's clearly.
I know my condition isn't as clear cut and it's always been a struggle for me. I see myself as walking the line between worlds (quite literally as well since my home is autistic).
In my experience psychedelics help set the mind straight, but it has to be expertly supervised.
thanks im gonna use this video for my sick autism edit
ОтветитьI've had less trouble than some others on the spectrum with interpreting nonliteral language/figures of speech, but for a long time I did interpret requests like "You want to grab my coat?" or "You want to turn in your homework?" as actually asking if I wanted to do that, rather than instructing me to do so, so I would sometimes answer "Not really." I have a good laugh nowadays thinking back on that.
ОтветитьNo one suffers from autism. They suffer from how people treat them for having autism.
ОтветитьI hate words such as "suffering from" "disorder" and such. You wouldn't call a woman "a man with the female disorder" for the exact same reason.
ОтветитьI’m 52 & only just now diagnosed.
ОтветитьUsing tbr word deviant though… 😢
ОтветитьI have aspergers syndrome and it's both a gift and curse.
ОтветитьI'm autistic and I have difficulties with smells, hard to me to explain things, talking to myself.
ОтветитьI have autism and I grew up believing in my childhood that I was just a dumb person who just sucks at stuff and will get no where but as I got older and matured a bit I started to realize properly that it wasn’t me or myself who was dumb rly it was just disabilities in certain stuff lol
Ответитьim not a boy and i have autism
ОтветитьI've read is abt the X gene, if I didn't mistook w another condition I so somehow read about online ... so
ОтветитьTürkçe altyazı 😔
ОтветитьI remember when I was a kid a guy asked me to carry a heavy wheat bag he was joking ofc and I went to do it like a champ LOL
ОтветитьI’m 21 years old I’m autistic
ОтветитьHi there I'm Wali
Not clear enough?
I'm autistic.
Yes thanks for the confirmation
With adhd , you can be too blunt and interrupt bc of impulse control; only to see the effects and realize, omg, nooooo I didn’t want to do that. At least with age, it’s easier to a. Apologize and b. Smooth over any rough patches that happened due to just jumping in ‘ impulse/ not reading the room. It’s still very annoying regardless.
ОтветитьI hate being autistic 😔😔
ОтветитьI have asperger autism and im happy with it
ОтветитьBecause of one of the requirements to curing autism, in this revolution telekinesis is unbelievably becoming common knowledge. Which means Adam Smith - Invisible Hand
ОтветитьFor once, finally I see a video about autism BY AN AUTISTIC PERSON. I’m so sick of neurotypicals saying how awful it must be to be autistic or that we can’t claim it’s a disability when they have no experience being autistic.
ОтветитьMe too I have autism
ОтветитьI have autism and it's devastating.
Atrorney Katrina Camera won't let me live in peace, I get abused by Continuum oF Care's staff who get paid my $ by Atrrorey Katrina Camera. I was nearly blnded by constant bright lights in my face.
Due to photophobia (i.e. light sensitivity,) from autism, my eyes hurt from being constantly subjected to bright lights while trapped in an improper setting. Continuum of Care, an agency clsiming to ""rebuild lives", employs negligent stafg without any certifcations. They're in it for an easy paycheck. I pleaded with them to stop allowing a bully to destroy my belongings. They hid in the office. They tried and failed to commit me for being harassed by a bully they forced me to reside with. I'm still a hostsge since I don't choose where to reside I finally moved out of that place, still trapped in Continuum of Care. My own $ would be witheld if I discharged myself.
Ppl with autism are under attack and expected to not defend ourselves.
The Department of Public Health
would probably retaliate if I reported said violations. Continuum of Care continues escalating its violations. As for why said scam still occurs, laws against such abuses are unenforced..
The Connecticut Legal Rights Project refuses to help.
Update: a staff member destroyed a resident's computer (not recently). Manager Leann Farley (in Wethersfield) probably destroyed my cell phone knowing I'd figure it was Mike Inigo, Jr. as usual.
This is what's resorted to now that I've recovered from forced drugging.
