Unlike ford and chevy, Dodge was not trying to make a stripped down European style sports car or a pony car. Dodge had the intention to make old school American Muscle Cars with the right mixture of new age technology, nobody did it better than Dodge. The Charger, Challenger and Durango among other Mopar vehicles are meant to be big, loud, powerful and fast. Some people will say we drive "boats" or we're "too heavy" well how many 9 and 8 second cars has GM or ford produced? The answer is zero. Dodge knows how to make a race car, in fact Dodge built a super car that has absolutely dominated anywhere it's ever gone, that car is the Dodge Viper 🐍 a V10 super car that eats alive anything chevy or ford has ever built. The Dodge Demon 👿 and the Dodge Viper 🐍 will beat anything chevy and ford has ever built, that also goes for imports as well. If you want a pony car go buy a mustang or a Camaro. If you want some overpriced European sports car go get a bmw or a Mercedes Benz. If you wanna off brand Ferrari you can buy a c8 Corvette that's if you can't afford a real Ferrari. If you want a true American Muscle Car with tons of power and looks amazing then you'll buy from Dodge. It's that simple folks, these vehicles haven't lost their mystique at all. I'm never buying anything that isn't Dodge. Mopar or no car!

This is a pretty bad review, I mean, with words like fat pig, dinky mirrors, fat Americans and so on. However, every time you step on the throttle you cant get that shit eating grin off your face. I suppose when your 5'4" and 135lbs, anything bigger than a Miata may seem big. These cars may not be the quickest or lightest but they have presence, which is more than I can say for 90% of the vehicles out there. To further your comment on a manual in these cars, most people do not know how to handle a 6 spd with almost 500 horse AND 500 ft pounds. The auto is a better transmission, however, the manual is more nostalgic.

I've accidentally broke loose on several occasions with my manual widebody TA. It's plenty of power with killer looks.

Get a 6 Speed and there is no cylinder deactivation.

Dodge didn't reduce weight because it makes an assload of HP and Torque. The most out of any NA engine for both numbers that is anywhere near the price. So it kept a bad ass car instead. Mustang and Camaro succumbed to gen Z fags who cannot tell a chick with a dick from a dude with tits.

Puts a smile on my face every time I drive her hard. Best bang for the buck IMO and I have owned many muscle cars in my life. Extra 25-30 grand for the Hellcat was not worth it for me because I can barley use the 485hp in my area.

2 things you missed, if you opt for the stick shift, you lose the remote start and the cylinder deactivation ( along with it's gas savings) goes away also. So instead of rambling about whether you like the clunk sound of door closing, maybe you should concentrate on the more important things!
