Okay as much as I love Helga, the very 1st scene kinda creeped me out, with Grandpa saying he often sees Helga jumping rope outside of their house waiting for Arnold, and THERE SHE IS: JUMPING ROPE OUTSIDE OF THEIR HOUSE WAITING FOR ARNOLD!!!!😳😳😳

Fun Fact: Helga was actually going to have her own spinoff show called “The Patakis,” which was basically going to be an edgier version of the show told by the perspective of a teenage Helga, but both Nick and MTV canned it.
Nick canned it for being too dark (ironic considering Ren and Stimpy, Avatar: The Last Airbender and One Coarse Meal from SpongeBob Season 7)
MTV canned it because they felt it was too similar to Daria, another MTV show that was airing at the time.
So sadly, Craig Bartlett decided to give up on the idea.
