I'm sorry, great bis piece and all, but his Saint Saens is lacking. What I hear is an interpreter that lets himself carried away by his own theatrics instead of commanding the music. He is technically ok, it's more of an attitude problem: getting on stage more for the bis than for the main concerto

Fazil is beyond all his great technical competence and musicianship, he is truly a real person whose soul I believe.
