instead of interviewing these homeless people I wish you did more than exposing there suffering by getting them real help yes you care to notice and be kind but there is so much you can do just by offering them money that's not me being hateful on your page I appreciate your work is showing us the real lives of how it is being on the streets yet these people need help serious help I just hope you atleast offered them more than just cash but proper essentials like toiletries clean clothes sleeping bags things that will actually make there lives abit better. but again it's not me hatting on your page. but I hope healing comes there way and that blessings always follow you sir. may every person suffering on earth be taken care of 😢❤

Her talking about how hard it is to get a lighter, and how the guy had to keep splashing her with drinks before she finally understood she could drink them and her being put in a chair and that they don't have to go to Mexico anymore and all that seems like she's definitely been trafficked and held hostage and locked down for a long time, if you really listen you can pick so many details out, about her being beat with a stick and about how even if they're hitting her it makes her feel more beautiful bc they said she couldn't make it without them and all that stuff I really hope she g3ts rescued and can slowly put her mind back together, it may seem all over the the place but I believe she's been in such an abnormal situation for so long trying to figure out how not to set off her traffickers anger and violence, her speech is almost like a defense mechanism where she purposefully hides her true thoughts behind and mixed in with nonsense, I pray this women is saved recovers and gets to have a life of some kind, she seems so sweet. It scares me how purr evil walks right beside us everyday and there's tons of invisible victims also right next to us living through hell we can scarce imagine

Omg this is so sad. I pray to God someone helps this woman escape the situation she’s in.

I think she's probably closer to 41 than 31; I think she's experiencing "missing time" from a prolonged period of being drugged. Her teeth and skin are too good for someone with a long meth addiction, no sores on her arms, patches of missing hair or visible burns. I'm guessing its fent or heroin, but I think her biggest issue is substantial brain damage and or psychological trauma. In my former city I saw just about every kind of person like this, and "missing time" is something they have in common. I don't think the man in the video was a pimp or trafficker, but rather someone who assists in running a homeless mission or such; if he were a pimp, he wouldn't have wanted to be recorded, secondly, he was concerned with her having a lighter (they sometimes cause fires using them for drugs). I'd say by his demeanor he was prior military or law enforcement, he was dressed for light work and didn't display any jewelry or tattoos, so I'd say he was someone with a bit of authority around there and that made her uncomfortable. I think she's homeless and in need of extensive healthcare, but whatever horrible thing she survived was likely years ago, she's damaged and just living day by day. It's too easy to assume she's being pimped out or trafficked, but as a prior EMS this stuff is so very common. Anyone trying to help has to be tough or mean, because you're dealing with people who are practically gone mentally, being sweet enables them, setting rules helps mitigate a lot of the chaos. They're like working with toddlers, but can flip from sweet to terrifying in an instant because they've been in survival mode for so long with psychological damage. We had EMS guys get stabbed with HIV+ needles by people who were completely harmless 99% of the time, or beaten senseless, bitten, etc... My point is, don't assume the worst, the majority of these cases are caused by this: Someone pretty innocent gets a little creative with sex and drugs, they eventually get involved with all the wrong people, their family and friends distance themselves, and bad leads to worse. Within a few years, they've lost everything and everyone, then they lose their physical health, followed by their mental health. Helping them becomes very hard, because their only "friends" are users and abusers, and before long they're wandering the streets and out of their mind. You can't listen to or believe much of what they say, if any, because they confuse things they've seen and heard with their own lives, hence, they were teachers, actors, academics, sports stars, etc... It's awful, and very few means of help actually work. So how does it end? I'm sorry to say this, but it usually ends with EMS or the police finding them dead, with nobody to claim the remains, and the state has them cremated. So what can you do? That's tough, you decide that for yourself, but I'd suggest that if you're a person of faith, dedicating some time to pray for them might be all you can do. Be kind, these people are someone's son, daughter, father, mother, brother, sister...

i know you or i cannot stop this type of stuff from happening to these people, i only wish i could, but god damn, it shows just how lucky a lot of us are in life and how we really should appreciate everything that we do have.

It's hard to know how to help someone like this by yourself, but if millions of people put their heads together to support mentally ill people we'd have the energy and power to do so. We are failing to do that as a society.

Shes obviously severely mentally ill, doing dates and drug addicted. Poor gal 😢 hopefully her family sees this.

Oh my God, women should get together, found an NGO and help out these abused women from the streets. It's devastating. Men can handle the streets, but these women don't stand a chance. :(( All those rich women should do something, it's their own gender, they understand well the frailty of a woman. :(( Oh, dear, so many shattered destinies and I can't do anything for anybody, I am living with only 500 dollars per month, but I am grateful for the roof over my head.

I'm new to the channel but I've watched a few episodes and this interview made me cry. I know every single interview is from people that are going through problems unimaginable to most others but hers is the saddest because she's a prisoner in her own mind and her mannerisms like not looking a person in their eyes and on top of that mostly looking down makes me wonder what happened in her life that makes her do that. 💔

Seems like she's somewhere on the schizophrenic spectrum you can hear it when you know what schizophrenia really is when she was talking about bullshit and red bull. I can't imagine how confused she is everyday but unbelievably she seems like this is how she wants to live but its just my opinion. I would help her to stay out of the streets if nothing else and hopefully help get her off whatever she's taking but I'm sure there are hundreds of other people that want to help but don't know how. How does one go about helping these women?

I'd say taht guy has dosed her , and is using her for financial gain ... guys lure girls and feed them drugs while they are drunk and get them addicted .. this happened to a female Australian friend of mine in new york 4 years ago her parents found her in California and now she has been clean and safe six. months
