It is NOT disappointing. If you played the first one and loved it like me, it is not a problem spending money on the game. It seems like everything from the first game is still there so let’s enjoy it and spread the word

So the major criticism is that PC master race tin foil hatters can't play the cartoony FPS at 240? You're trying to milk engagement atp, this is not even an issue normally, not even for gameplay reasons.

Well, Dota 2 was not always free to play for example. And I think its pretty understandable for a game which only getting released etc. After getting enough attention, it becomes free to play

I did the thing where I commented before watching the video. Thank you for bringing up often not considered issues like Ultrawide and servers as an OCE player! I understand the economics of the server issue but I really wanted to support this project and I just can't with unplayable ping and stupid design decisions like no 21:9+ support

Dose the game have crossplay

I can’t even play it lol I bought it and been trynna play for over 2 hours, just been searching endlessly and with crossplay on someone either leaves before the match forms forcing a new lobby que or I get far enough to pick my character and someone backs out last min so that’s fun..

Skill leveling reminds me of heroes of the storm and I loved that

A lot of these games are lacking in character development outside of gameplay. This is a fun game, but what makes these characters unique. What’s a good way to this character relatable.
Why are they getting these monsters to attack. It’s missing the flavor.
I’d rather eat Cinnamon Toast Crunch than eat Brand flakes. I feel like this is what this game is. It’s cool, but after a while, what’s next.

I wish that the sole presence of mtx didnt have such a stain on games now. Mtx have been around forever & I think the hate on em has the opposite effect that players intend it to have. If they hinder the game I understand the hate but just because a game has mtx doesnt automatically turn me off

Not being a free game kills the game for me. I won't be able to convince anyone I know to play this. The moment I found it costed any money at all killed it for me. Shame.

Biggest problem for a game is not being able to play it like I went about 20-25 imes of the game saying match found just to say someone left like it honestly so confusing and dumb to bait me into believing I’m finding matches and I’m not

“Overwatch clone” ☝️ that is exactly why it died. People today have no idea the struggles this game was fighting against, overwatch being a shell of what it once was will give this game a huge advantage now, 20$ no stupid micro transactions, easy to play hard to master, tons of cool free skins to collect. It’s perfectly fine and I’ve been gaming hard on it

the unkillable bots is NOT a little issue. in every one of my games someone abuses the glitch by leaving and rejoining affectively creating another invincible version of themselves that kills your creatures. this is 100% game breaking so imo the game isnt playable still.

I honestly think I'll buy it just to support this very very small genre that needs to grow! I'm tired of people calling new games in a small genre a clone of the original. It's like calling Banjo Kazooie a clone of Mario 64... Like absolutely dumb. But what do you expect of people.

I understand that the old players wanted a bit more out of this release. However i never played this game before, and as such im more then happy to get this experiance for me and my friends. Also the fact that the publisher gave this game a secound chance is admirable and i can not blame them not "risking" more money on the line by throwing development hours to the wind. Remember, this game had sinked a dev studio once.

That being sayd im having a lot of fun so im up fir the challenge.

I was exited to buy it until I heard it's locked to 60 fps.

Having a box price and little to no marketing in a market that competes with more established and more polished games that are all free creates a barrier of entry that most people that even hear about the game won't cross. Meaning there will be more people leaving than that new players joining. They killed the game before it was even out and they knew it. They barely changed anything and gambled on the nostalgic factor that people who have played before would buy the game. Player base is already down 60-75% since re-launch (9 days as of now). Blatant cash grab.

Its crazy how players are so hesitant to drop 15$ on a game that will give you hours of fun, and even better with friends but no problem ordering Doordash. So what if it doesn't become the next big game of all time, its 15-20 bucks worth of GOOD GAME.

I mean you cant expect everything in the game to peopl 100% free and also want new content there is 0 reason to make more content if you make no money from more then the box price it self . Its back for the community not to.compeat in the market for that you need cash

the reason is that game dev don'T make beta testing for rush server anymore...
game are rushed into the market instead and server stress test is actually that ...
normally games would make an open beta free for all to test the server... AND then if the server hold launch the game or fix the issues and delay the launch by few days...
but since players don'T care anymore either about playing early access... welll that's the result of lowering the expectation bar...

I want to play this game, but I am in OCE. Playing fast paced online games like this is difficult to enjoy when your ping sits at 200+

Everyone remember if its missing polish or not fully up to date its largely because they took a risk bringing this game back so they put little to know extra funds until they see if there is a want for more

Nah, F2P with micro transaction skins would keep the game alive long enough to fix everything. As it stands, a game like this will see its player base collapse (already has), and the company wont be able to cover the costs of keeping the servers running. It'll be gone again because of their decisions on this.

I remembered i always wanted to play this back in 2017 I'll happily give it a shot

it does look fun. But yeah, considering that I have to spend 15 dollar and the the game may be dead after a couple of month doesn't sit well with me. In addition, since this game is an old game, I got a feeling like once i try it, i will just constantly get folded by beta-player. Which is fine for me with any other game but then again, If it will really be a short live game then I got a feeling like by the time, i master 1 character, the game be dead. So for me, I will just wait and see if thsi game will survive.

edit: for me, this just felt like a cash grab from publisher. Especially with how i dont see how a multiplayer game in modern day could survive without going free-to-play.

Can’t find matches T-T

I never ever had heard about Gigantic. Epic Games gave it for free and that's how I got to know it. I seriously don't know how it's a nostalgia for everyone. I got to know about it today

It's a shame that ppl actually like a game with micros in it so the devs "support it" why don't we support this game and just have fun?
