How to Fix No Sound After Windows 11 Update - Sound Missing [Solved]

I had similar problem bit it was the clean installation on Nvidia driver update which caused the sound to have a problem

all it took was a windows update for me im glad i thought i broke my pc some how even tho all i do is play games on it

I just did all that today for a friend. Nothing worked until I downloaded and installed the drivers from the pc manufacturer website (Dell). Then I had to change the outputs to speakers to finally get it to play. What a pain. Took about 45 minutes to sort it out.
