Another tip is decreasing the value of Timebase (PPQ) . You find that in Options -> Project general settings.
What it does is lowering the resolution of your timeline of the playlist and the piano roll. So it is going to be less precise for example when you're drawing curves in an automation clip or drawing notes in the piano roll, but for my needs it's still absolutely enough if the value is at 72 or 48. 24 might be too bad to work with.
So now FL doesn't have to read so many points in the timeline while playing your track which can have an enormous effect on your CPU.

Which screen capture program do you use? I've tried OBS but it couldn't record any sound because of my computer being connected to my Scarlett audio interface? Do you record your audio separatly or in your screen capture program?
