The grenade Explosion from Post Scriptum looks like a real life explosion... Like its from a movie... Why does the HLL Devs not care about FX and SFX? The grenade explosions look like CoD2 with HD mod. Why is there white smoke coming out of the grenade when it explodes??? HLL could be such a good game but all these things leading Post Scriptum to a clear superiority when it comes to immersion...

Every sound from beyond the wire or Post Scriptum simply sounds better than HLL... I really dont know why its so hard for HLL Devs to implement good sounds...

Hell Let Loose has the least realistic sound effects of the three games.

I feel like post scriptum is such a wasted potential, with all the issues plaguing the game.

fun fact: after loading the second charger, you would simply close the bolt. The bolt head coming forward hits the charger, it pivots in the slot and falls away from the action, both in the No1 and No4 rifles.

Uhhhh the enfield and the SMLE MKII are different rifles

You can't sit here and deny that HLLs environment is stunning! You don't pay attention to gun sounds, just feel the ambiance. The best thing they have for them.

Was hoping to see the British Day of Infamy guns on here. I'd have to say that the weapons and explosives are done best in it out of all the realistic games of the genre. Sounds are mechanical, metallic, and generally all-around beefy. Every gun (barring the high power and maybe welrod) has its own general effectiveness on the battlefield. And of all the realistic games with British guns, I must admit that DoI hands down has the best sights for them by a LONG shot. The only problem I'd see is that the BOYS AT rifle isn't included since armored warfare isn't present in that game, and it doesn't have the Lanchester or any close equivalent since those SMGs were used in exceedingly small numbers in their respective armies.

Did Hell Let Loose updated their gunshot sounds? I was always whining about i disliked HLL gunshot sounds so much. They sound low and powerless. Now i see this vid and they sound so good now.

I love postscriptum and am, therefore, biased. I’ve played a fair amount of he’ll let loose and it’s just well, underwhelming. Sure the commander abilities are a nice spectacle but the guns don’t have any punch. Take the boys AT rife. In post scriptum it feels like your firing a masive rife designed to disable or destroy tanks whereas in hell let loose it feels like a rife with a longer bolt time. Side note, tank combat in post is miles better than he’ll let loose.

Edit: the clip doesn’t show it but when a person is hit by the at rifles in post scriptum they explode in pink dust. Very satisfying.

By only looking at this video I can tell that Post Scriptum has more accurate and interesting animations, but they look kinda underfunded. Also the weapons feels smaller in post scriptum in comparison to other two

HLL scale with hands is also off particularly with the American weapons, this is something that’s always bothered me

HLL has some of the worst iron-sights I've ever seen for British weapons. Can't see shit!

Post Scriptum got it far more correct.... and not just with the weapons but in many areas. HLL is nothing but a CoD style FPS, everything is in the name of "balance". PS kept it balanced while keeping the different factions true to themselves. HLL's armor modeling is simply horrendous. I wish PS had the same support as HLL.

The Fire Rate of the HLL Lee-Enfield is criminally slow.

Please bring PS to console ...

Tho I have to admit PS in my opinion looks and feels the better experience why has it failed so dramatically in the popularity war is it to hard ,to long winded ?

I really hate that HLL ditched realism and that thte playerbase are not being more militant on them changing some weapon, vehicle models around, etc...

I love PS more than HLL for one reason. More mech. Mechs spawn like transports and I love me a good loaded half track push into objectives.

Seems to me, Post Scriptum does things alot better than Hell Let Loose as HLL seems more for fun than 100% accuracy..Post Scriptum goes for realism etc.

Looking at Post-Scriptum, I wonder if it was actually normal for WWII soldiers to use that shooting technique with Lee-Enfields in actual combat.
