The bands were probably cut by someone who knows what they're doing because the bands tend to shorten the lifespan of the engine

Here in Brazil, this huge box, wouldn't be sold for less than 700 dollars.
I quit trying to buy anything from eBay because, despite the real cheap prices found there, the shipping costs from US and Canada to Brazil are outrageously expensive.

Allowing it to pull heavy loads for wheel slip is actually good for it because not only it’s giving the engine a good run but also cleaning the wheels off

I'd like to add the 040 with tender. One of the tender bodies was backwards. As well as the other bogie was derailed. It would run alot better if achualy on the track proper

Oh, and are you looking at selling the brass track? I happen to be looking for some additional track, because I recently started using HO scale.

That grey caboose happens to be a "work caboose", which was used with cranes. The beam of the crane would rest upon the long platform of the work caboose, and the crew would stay in the shanty.

The little engine that could!!😁

That little steam locomotive was great, the first time you put it on the track! Very nice!! It was my hero!👍 The other ones, just need oil, and a little work, and they will probably work fine! The first little steamer was really impressive when it pulled all those cars by itself!!😳

What an incredible fine and most of those cars were in really good condition and whoever had the car the train set before really took good care of it because they packaged carefully! Just imagine all of this new would have been really really expensive with that many cars and locomotives and track all together!

Miss my old HO scale trains that my dad handed down to me. I don't remember what happened to them!
