Pushing The New Intel Stock Cooler To The LIMIT

So.... the lil cooler that came w/my G6900 isn't going to be liked by the 12900KS I got it seems

This cooler will easily cool a i3 6100

Who the hell says, let me bump my thermal limit to 115C? 🤦‍♂️

Just like with what happened to the author of this video, does anyone know how to remove this stock CPU cooler? The previous intel stock cooler had arrows showing where to turn but this new one does not. As a result I am unable to remove this cooler even if I tried to pull up on the four snap-ins. Its like they are stuck. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Is it normal at idle the 12400f core temp is 52c using this fan ?

Your using an RM1 intel cooler which is for the I5 and below on an i9 lol
Should of used the Intel RH1 which is for the I7 and I9 for this test
I love your video's but this is not a very good one with the coolers and very inaccurate.

as long your not running a k series of 12gen and 13gen your fine

I got almost through putting my entire pc together just to realize my current cpu coolers bracket doesn’t fit and had to use the stock intel cooler to even turn the pc on 💀 i7 13th gen

I bought my i5 12400 used because it came without the cooler. Wasn't going to have that useless metal hunk. I bought a vetroo v5 because 117 w spikes are nothing to laugh at unlike what Intel apparently thinks

12400 runs way coooler while undervolted by 100mV. Would've been good to include this, as I brought temps down to 45c in r23 multi-core benchmark, with the Arctic Freezer eSports 34 Duo. Really curious what the stock would do with UV.

I also hate the mechanism for mounting. Everyone seems to just mount it without effort, I had a good 30min fight with that sucker the first time I placed in the MoBo.
And I didn’t really felt it clicked all the way trough.
But my 12400F never gets over 70ºC, so I think I am fine.

Dawid, FYI, the regular non-K version of the i9-12900 comes with a pretty massive Intel CPU cooler that does a much better job. The Intel cooler that you’re using is definitely not suitable for such a powerful CPU (yet alone the K version… yikes!).

i have a 12400f and the cooler is pretty much fine for me, i get 60c when gaming and that’s pretty much good
