Out of topic Dom I didn't get the meaning of what's on your T-shirt and I am curious now. 😅
ОтветитьVirharmonic cello, violin are the best!
ОтветитьSpitfire Gravis library? Really?
ОтветитьHe looks like the guy from that justice video many many many years ago lol
ОтветитьYou know... Watching your videos make people fat. You are always telling people to grab coffees and snacks...
ОтветитьThe winner is the Cremona quartet ❤
ОтветитьGreat video! subscribed! Can I ask you which is the library that you play at the very beginning of the video? Suonds like sample modelling...
ОтветитьPeople always sleep on cinestrings
Ответитьi love you mannnnn
ОтветитьCinematic studio strings are not great sound is too wide and blurred
ОтветитьJoshua Bell is one I've had my eye on for a while now. It's so expressive and seems to do exactly what you want (most of the time). Sounds very authentic.
I feel it will accompany Tina Guo very well for when you just want a stunning solo in any style of music.
Take a look at Maxime Luft's 'Iconic Violin' library.
Ответитьhey Dom, the Cinestring Solo library you're playing is the v2 ? i read around many people prefer the old v1, what do you think bout that ?
ОтветитьI haven't tried many of these. I've been using LA Scoring Strings for many years. But recently, I'm going for SWAM for solo strings because its just so easy to set up and use live. Sample libraries seem so clunky in comparison. I don't think its the best sounding strings, but it is good, very expressive possibilities and any deficiencies in pure sound quality are lost within the context of a mix.
ОтветитьFor ultra-realistic short notes, the best sample library is Solisti by Salm Audio Tools! Three articulations that mesh perfectly. The sound is pure dry, 3264 samples, really playable!
ОтветитьSynchro Player is not very realic... Cinematic has too much room... SWAM is very good dynamik but not very realistic... Chris Hein is a old lib but good...
ОтветитьThank you for your content! This is very useful information! Your channel deserves to have a lot more subscribers on it!
ОтветитьHey, great video! You really are an amazing pianist who has such an infectious passion for music!
I was wondering if you might be able to point me to a synth that does something a bit unique, and ideally, a video of you demonstrating it? I'm looking for a good single-string [or something that can be isolated to a single string] VSTi with bowing control to make a sorta virtual tagelharpa having each string on a different track. Bowing control doesn't need to be fully one-to-one gesture-based, but the ability to control starting and stopping of bowing independent from the note selection is absolutely paramount to achieving the right sound!
Any thoughts? Thanks!
definitely change your name to Paganini .....
