Many thanks for the kind comments, everyone!
ОтветитьI think he definitely survived the red mountain. Marcurio in Riften talks about him sometimes when you travel in dwemer ruins together. He talks of him the the present instead of past tense so I'd assume that confirmation of his survival.
ОтветитьI would love to learn more about Yagrum Borgarn and the Dwemer in general. Seems they may have been dwarves, ( politically correct ) would be little people, using a very advanced exoskeleton to make them bigger and more imposing?
ОтветитьI would hope the old fart would still be alive in TES6, it would be quite the missed opportunity to kill him off.
ОтветитьOh man, this guy... I don't think I've seen a more sympathetic character (personally, at least) in all of Elder Scrolls. Alone in a failing body, but without misplaced anger. I'm crying over him. I'd sit there and listen to everything he'd like to say about his Lord Kagrenac and about his craft and every awful thing he'd say about the gods that took away his entire race and I'd bitch at them with him.
On the other hand, perhaps there's a slim possibility of the Dwemer making a return in the future. "Wholesale displacement to an outer realm." But, if they've become immortal, they might still live? And if Yagrum was in an outer realm and came back like he did, maybe there's an even wider sliver of a chance? Idk, I'm not nearly as knowledgeable on Elder Scrolls lore, but I've always thought it would be so cool to finally have dwarves in this fantasy game series.
Morrowind is my second favorite elder scrolls game with oblivion being my favorite but I’d you have the chance to play Morrowind do it and some leave because there’s no quest markers the more you play the more you will get used to the land of Morrowind but you also have to lvl a bit between quest because it’s significantly more difficult than oblivion and Skyrim the earlier the eldersrolls game the harder it is
ОтветитьI do hope he survived. I wonder if knows what precisely his people did to the snow elves. Was it really malicious?
ОтветитьLet's say, hypothetically, I am a barbie girl. Okay let's even say I'm in a barbie world. Right so, in this scenario, I would obviously know from personal experience that life in plastic is fantastic. Wouldn't it be reasonable to assume you could brush my hair and undress me literally everywhere? Imagination; you can derive from the fundamentals of basic logic that life is your creation.
ОтветитьMaybe.
ОтветитьNo.
ОтветитьYes.

I still hope that the Dwemer somehow return, maybe even through a main quest in TES (6?). Then, in the game after their return, they could be a playable faction. The Elder Scrolls lore is so full of mysteries and unexplered places, I'm sure an epic return would be no problem and even then, there could still be enough mysteries shrouding their disappearance and absence.
ОтветитьI think he might have accepted his fate during the red year, as he has lived thousands of years, and in his current state he is miserable. Maybe he sacrificed himself to save Fyr and his "daughters", and that the dwarves are now extinct. Or j ust maybe the potion cured him and he regained his physical form before being infected and left the realm as soon as the first trembles of Red Mt. started and is out there in oblivion on a maddening quest to find his kin.
ОтветитьYes. I totally needed a Yagrum Bagarn Full Skin Texture HD 4K Mod.
rejoice.
edit: I am blessed with 4k HD Divayth Fyr. All is well with the world
dyvayth fyr tells nerevarine that he will make another potion for yagrum to cure him from corprus and according to the dark elf someone has just seen a living dwemer in morrowind, which means that after drinking the potion yagrum survived, got rid off all negative effects of the disease and became immortal just like nerevarine.
ОтветитьThanks for making this homie
ОтветитьFun fact- Even if Lord Fyr couldn’t cure Yagrum. He would never die because one of the side effects of the Corpus is Halted aging therefore giving him Immortality (as long as he’s never murdered) he can never die of old age
ОтветитьGreat video, and phenomenal voice acting! If all characters were voiced this well, the Elder Scrolls series would be elevated to an entirely new level of immersion and excellence
ОтветитьThe voice acting is bad
ОтветитьMaybe you guys dont like it but THIS is what peak male performance looks like.
ОтветитьI was thinking once you found this guy it would solve the arch mages question to solve the disappearance of the dwemmer
ОтветитьMojo?
ОтветитьMajjicc Media voiced some awesome Yagrum Bagarn scene as well! ;)
Ответитьi hate people who claim to be fans of the series and don't play this masterpiece
Ответитьbro the voice acting is so good. I have no idea what I expected this guy to sound like but this is somehow exactly it.
ОтветитьDude sounds like he's gonna fucking die any second
ОтветитьThis audio really reminds me how terrifying the plot of past elder scrolls games were.
ОтветитьWait, the characters in Morrowind weren't voice acted? Wow, I completely forgot about that. I beat it within the first year it was released.
ОтветитьWhenever I feel like my lore releases in the DnD campaign I run are slow, I just remember Bethesda has had us waiting on the plot reveal of what happened to the Dwarves for almost 2 decades now, lol.
ОтветитьI think in the end yknow the story of the dwemer is that they DID travel to the future no trace of them in the present and no stories from the past of thousands of dwarves just appearing out of nowhere but the guy from eso the time traveler? He seemed very dodgy about the answer sort of like he knew where they went now that could be because scholars eventually figure it out but it could also be because in HIS past the dwarves DID just appear out of nowhere and were so far behind in technology at that point that no one really cared nor did THEY care to return to the past or maybe didn't have the means I mean you'll never REALLY know this is what happened but it's what makes the most sense in my opinion that or they Thanos style dusted into thin air 🤷🏻♂️
Ответитьso Kagrenac made Wraithguard, and the hammer and the dagger, Keening. Arniel found Keening and does his own experiments with the dwarves, and we see one such with him hitting a soul gem with it and he vanishes. What if the Craftlord used all 3 on the heart, with his blood possibly in the weapons, to just mast poof the dwarves like Arniel did himself? I like to think a whole fight was going on and they tried to stop him from hitting the heart to prove it and they just vanish.. somewhere.
ОтветитьAhh gross kill it.
ОтветитьHas anyone ever asked themselves whether this bad hombre is even actually a dwarf? Is there any guarantee that he's not simply an elaborate liar?
ОтветитьVery interested in discussing the time displacement. His verbiage very much suggests he only recently came out of the Outer Planes Expedition and it was not intended to be a journey that spam the time that he was gone nor did he experience that Gulf of time.
ОтветитьI wish we could ask him what the dwarves did to the snow elves but because that isn’t relevant to the game he’s in it cannot be asked
ОтветитьYagrum and Dave seem to fall under the "Too old to die" category xD
ОтветитьWould there be a link between the Dwarven alloy and dedric artifacts? Maybe the Dwarven are the dedra.... mutated and launched into another time and realm.
ОтветитьLol I need glasses. I thought it said elder scrolls defective and I was like, "Hey! Yagram's not that bad! Sure he is the only dwarf mortal but since he has corpus isn't he in touch with the divine?" Then I realized that is literally what Dagoth Ur said and felt all yucky inside...
ОтветитьI'd love a detective video on Serana and her family
ОтветитьLook at that glorious cellulite riddled fupa
ОтветитьSince Miraak is one of the oldest living beings in the ElderScrolls universe and spent that time in Apocrypha he may be almost if not more so knowledgeable
ОтветитьAm I the only one who feel like taking a nap on his big fat belly?
ОтветитьHere’s hoping in a future dlc we’ll see the last dwarf again, cured even!
ОтветитьDope enjoyed this so much
ОтветитьI'm calling it now, in Elder Scrolls 6, not only will he be alive, but there will be other dwemer in High Rock.
ОтветитьThat Dwemer dude would sound like Gilbert Gottfried and not whatever this guy is trying to sound like.
Ответитьabsolutely nobody on this earth:
Yagrum Bagarn:👆🤚🤙
He is such a fascinating character, the last of his kind.
ОтветитьShould have asked him why the Dwemer had no toilets. Another great mystery remains shrouded.
Ответить
