I love old country.
I Also Lost My Dad When I was 9 Years Old Because Of His Womanizing Card playing, And Moonshing.
Ответить💙🌹🤣😪😪😪😪
ОтветитьWhat a humble and Gentleman do we have here...Gives only one Kristorferson.....❤
ОтветитьWow, just wow!!
ОтветитьWish there was more Cajun music. I grew up in a church in Virginia with a Cajun pastor. He could sing, oh he could sing.
ОтветитьEverybody has their vices.
ОтветитьKris is so down to earth person so humble . Both are so great singers. Kris is thoruough gentleman , very sweet attitude.
Ответить“ Found my cleanest dirty shirt” What a great line. 🧡🧡
ОтветитьI wish talent like this still existed. Kids today have no idea what real musical talent is.
ОтветитьYou sound like your Daddy Johnny Cash ❤
ОтветитьSome people should live forever !
ОтветитьMe too❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ответитьprobably the most poetic lyrics of any song ever written (and I'm a big dylan fan)
ОтветитьThe sound of the guitars gets inside your soul
ОтветитьEnorm, super!!! Immer wieder hören!!
ОтветитьHighwaymen ... I am Austrian, but I love them, their music, ... and I am proud to say, I met Johnny Cash in real life 35 years ago.... a highlight in my life
ОтветитьI like both of these men, but they have not made the best use of the their lives. Read the Bible. Let us live it. Time is short. God is good. Forever is a long time. Jesus Saves.
ОтветитьTrue legend,
Trying to forward our lesson,
I do love his lost voice
Love ya all. Xxx
My Dad and I were connected through music. As a kid I remember driving through the Colorado mountains with the top off his '69 Bronco listening to Willie, and singing Blue Skies and on The Road Again at the top of our lungs.
Later in life we drove trucks together. We would hear a new song or artist and call each other and share the song. I was a pearl jam fam since my grunge days.
When he first heard this version, he sent me the video. This became our song.
Later when he got cancer, he and Watched the video again in hospice. It was my good bye. I played it in his funeral.
It pops up on my speakers at some of the most ironic times, passing through our home town, passing his family farm in Nebraska, heading to his memorial, when I miss him. I feel like he is still around, and he sends it to me when he is near.
1000
ОтветитьEXCELENTE duo felicitaciones
Ответитьthis song better Johnny cash.
Ответить❤❤
ОтветитьThank you for your service to this country and fighting against evil at home and abroad, ira hayse, God bless you and your brothers who served in armed forces
Ответить2023 and here I am. Listening with my beautiful wife. Not even 42 yet and I'm getting nastalgic... Reminds me of the days my old man would bang out the tunes all Sunday long. Everything from JC to Fleetwood Mac and Dire Straights.... Then onto Buddy Holly and Tina Turner.... What a lucky lad I am, was and will forever be. Music really tells a person's character.... Let's not mention the Monty Python nights and Red Dwarf after Top Gear.... I knew of better Times. For which I am forever grateful 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
ОтветитьKris was a cia operative
ОтветитьDos lejendas
ОтветитьSame comment ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ forever....thanks to you two unforgettables ❤❤❤
ОтветитьLyrics:
Well, I woke up Sunday morning
With no way to hold my head that didn't hurt
And the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad
So I had one more for dessert
Then I fumbled through my closet for my clothes
And found my cleanest dirty shirt
And I washed my face and combed my hair
And stumbled down the stairs to meet the day
I'd smoked my brain the night before
On cigarettes and songs that I'd been pickin'
But I lit my first and watched a small kid
Cussin' at a can that he was kicking
Then I crossed the empty street
And caught the Sunday smell of someone fryin' chicken
And it took me back to somethin'
That I'd lost somehow, somewhere along the way
On the Sunday morning sidewalk
Wishing, Lord, that I was stoned
'Cause there's something in a Sunday
Makes a body feel alone
There ain't nothin' short of dyin'
Half as lonesome as the sound
On the sleepin' city sidewalks
Sunday mornin' comin' down
In the park I saw a daddy
With a laughin' little girl who he was swingin'
And I stopped beside a Sunday school
Listened to the song they were singin'
Then I headed back for home
And somewhere far away a lonesome bell was ringin'
And it echoed through the canyons
Like the disappearing dreams of yesterday
On the Sunday morning sidewalk
Wishing, Lord, that I was stoned
'Cause there's something in a Sunday
Makes a body feel alone
There ain't nothin' short of dyin'
Half as lonesome as the sound
On the sleepin' city sidewalks
Sunday mornin' comin' down
On the Sunday morning sidewalk
Wishing, Lord, that I was stoned
'Cause there's something in a Sunday
Makes your body feel alone
There ain't nothin' short of dyin'
Half as lonesome as the sound
On the sleepin' city sidewalks
Sunday mornin' comin' down
Ah, I just love Johnny. Incomparable indeed. I miss the musical variety shows on TV. Did we stop valuing music or is there just too much content out there like TV itself?
ОтветитьWill someone who knows Kristofferson PLEASE urge him to NOT
Quit creating such songs as this one as long as he can keep
making them. I am strongly convinced that these songs of his
will remain popular long after anything that he makes for
Hollywood has been relegated to the dust of the past.
Johnny and Kris, not to forget Willie Nelson... All legends of Country songs. Where have the 1970s gone? Sigh!
Ответитьthe best music ever...
ОтветитьThat performance was like 2 people meeting today saying, I understand you man, (big hug)
Unfortunately then it was brushed under the carpet 🙁
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьAnd mr cash finished it with him .
ОтветитьSuperb ! brilliant song, sunday morning's loneliest day of the week, where is everybody = bed, lol.. where's the 3rd verse go ?
ОтветитьVážení přátelé tohle je top country muziky , poslouchá to ještě někdo???❤❤❤
ОтветитьHow incredibly humble and the humility shown here From Kris to Johnny was heartwarming and to confess his proudest moments Johnny claimed and sang his song only to be topped by performing his song with the icon showing the class and respect that he did to Johnny was timeless and priceless! Good Ole days of real country music and real country music men!
ОтветитьTwo giant, giant legends
ОтветитьExcellent✌️❤️🎶☯️🖖
