Awesome!
ОтветитьOutstanding video & explanation! Thanks very much for breaking this down! Well done!!
ОтветитьThis is the most helpful video I’ve seen on Zettelkasten so far. Thank you.
ОтветитьThank you! Very useful summarization!
ОтветитьI never understood why literature notes and permanent notes can't be combined.
One contains what the source said in your own words that you dont want to forgot. The other contains insights and ideas. I feel like you could combine the two easily sometimes. Any thoughts on what I am missing?
Hi I love your videos. Quick question...
How do I make better permanent notes with great care. Maybe I am not deep enough but my notes are pretty simple. I do know that writing aobut what you read in your own words is the core part of notetaking without plagiarism. But showing examples of source text and then your notes in a future video would be helpful. If not no worries. I can learn from this video.
Thank you! Great job
ОтветитьThank you for clear explanation about this method. By the way what is app on phone that used to write your note? So we can write easily
ОтветитьLove it but the obvious comparison is Wikipedia, right?
ОтветитьI really appreciate your work, Thank you. I talk in Spanish, but I can understand very well all you say in your videos... because you are clear and understand what are saying. Now I am your follower. (sorry for my English).
ОтветитьI am happy to have found your channel. I look forward to your content,
ОтветитьIt beings a tear to my eye to see people in the video writing notes with a computer on their desk.
It was developed long before computers and smart phones were prevalent. It seem totally computer-phobic to use any kind of paper based system in 2023. - - - It’s like building a house without using a hammer.
I have watched 3-5 videos on Zettlekasten. They all describe the system in the way Luhmann designed it. What would be much more valuable would be for someone to make a video that demonstrates how to use the system with one of the more well-known note-taking system like Apple Notes or Evernote.
One of the most comprehensive explanation so far! Great video!
ОтветитьOne of the best explanations I've found
ОтветитьI've tried implementing a slip box method for my academic work and never saw a lot of progress or use until this video right here and I redid my slip box according to your guide. It has been revolutionary, thank you!
ОтветитьFinally! Simple and great intro to Zettelkasten! And lasts only 10 minutes 😲
ОтветитьFantastic review and explanation. Full marks too, for making this video and it's links into a resource we can use and come back to.
ОтветитьImo, the best video on Zettelkasten! I have only one remark: you speak twice about the Zettelkasten format but never explained it. Would you fixed it, you’re vid’ could be like a diamond!
ОтветитьIt was invented by a smart German scholar named Nicholas Luhmann, who wrote over 60 books and 600 articles! The main idea is to help you learn and develop ideas by writing and thinking critically.
Zettelkasten uses different types of notes called literature notes, permanent notes, hub notes, and fleeting notes. Literature notes are taken when you read something, while permanent notes are your own thoughts and ideas. Hub notes are like a table of contents, and fleeting notes are quick thoughts you have during the day that you transfer to other notes later.
The system works by putting related notes together and linking them, so it's easy to find information and explore different ideas. You can create a Zettelkasten using index cards in a box or even digitally with an app.
To get started with Zettelkasten, you can summarize books and articles, transfer your existing notes, or focus on your favorite problems to learn more about a topic. The most important thing is to make Zettelkasten a habit by scheduling time to work on it every day.
Very well explained, thank you!
ОтветитьThis is by far the most complete and comprehensive explanation on this note taking system I've ever come across ❤
ОтветитьTeşekkürler
Ответить3 раза посмотрел. Автор молодец.
ОтветитьI love this woman. Very clear and helpful.
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьBest video I’ve watched on Zettelkasten. You’ve earned a subscriber. I can’t wait to learn more from you. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьThis one is much cleaner than the one from the previous video. The video is more concise and the visuals really support and reinforce what is being spoken. Good job Darin!
ОтветитьI love this video. Only a few minutes in and I find it's so easy to latch onto. Great job. I've subscribed!
ОтветитьI could never implement this in my life and make it stick. Never.
ОтветитьI really loved it. Specially the WHY and the steps that you mentioned at the end. I was feeling a bit lost with my Zettlecasten eventho i have a lotsnof notes there.
I like how you are concise and to the point. Clear communication.
Thank you so much 🙏
This video was true to the title; Simple & Complete. I’ve been struggling to wrap my head around Zettelkasten and while I’m not fully there yet, I feel that a few more pieces of the puzzle have clicked into place after watching. One Literature note is coming right up! Thanks Darin!
ОтветитьOMGoodness thanks so much for your vid! I've watched a few of these trying to understand, but you really broke this down concisely!
ОтветитьHI. If have a serios of notes that are factual, where do they belong in the Zettle Kasten method? For example: I collected in a note all the most important markup formatting for obsidian, gathered from several sources, or in another note I have the list of all the satellites of Jupiter. They are statements of facts not ideas. But I still want to keep and be able to access them. Where do I store them?
ОтветитьLoved the video, really well done! But I get so annoyed that everyone mispronounces “Zettelkasten” 😅 It doesn’t take long to google it or type it into Google Translate and have it pronounce it for you.
ОтветитьHi K. Eng, nice and thorough explanation of Zettelkasten! Seems like the sources of this system will be mainly from data sources that you learn/absorb daily. In actual working environment, there are lots of information flowing through that you will also take notes. How should we distill what information to be maintained in PKM?
ОтветитьThis is the the best short-format introduction on Zettelkasten I've seen thus far. Great job.
ОтветитьGreat video. Keep going!
ОтветитьI've watched a lot of Zettelkasten videos and this is by far one of my favorites for understanding the big picture/theory of it! Thank you :)
ОтветитьYour explanation is so clear that the literature note from this video would be the same as the permanent note 😂 and i literally was able to memorize everything you said on the first watch, i have no idea how you did it but you’re a presentation genius. please make more videos someday!!
Ответитьnice video editing. do you do it yourself or outsource it?
ОтветитьThank you! Please don't stop 👍👍👍
ОтветитьSubscribed!
