Demigod is great, still prefer Satanist but its absolutely their best of the old hammer in the face style of death metal

I would take Helloween's Keepers or Stratovarius' Visions over any Dragonforce production anytime.

I had never listened to Mastodon, but was browsing a record shop at the time that Leviathan dropped. They had one of those listening stations you could que up albums for sale. I put it on, heard the riffs and insane drums and made my purchase. Took it to a party later that night and everyone was less than impressed. I was dumbfounded....do you not hear what I hear? What is wrong with you people!?

There are so many hidden gems (10/10), almost impossible to name them all. Ever heard of Above Symmetry (former Aspera) - Ripples? Kinda a one hit wonder, but totally 10/10. Also, Scar Symmetry the whole Discography is a 10/10 (for me at least) - just perfect. Other than that very good list, lots of tens for me as well.

"I must appeal to black metal people and add a behemoth album..."... I m pretty sure you know what the true 10/10 albums sounds like but you still do this kind of stuff to eat, cover your body with clothes, pay bills and stuff. but you are low. avenged sevenfold? come on... sure they have some good songs, but dude... low.

i thought awaken the welkin at dusk was more widely considered emperor's best album. Sure, nightside is a close second, but i've never seen anyone call it better objectively or subjectively.

What about The Bleeding by Cannibal Corpse. It’s better than half of those imo.

A hidden gem of an album is Dark Ages by Soulfly, something about it is special. I've shown it to a lot of people and even to those who aren't really into metal and I have yet to find someone who didn't like it.

Why wasn't _________________ in this list? Their ___________ and ___________ are the cornerstones of all modern and ancient metal!

I really would have loved to see some Black Sabbath or Led zeppelin, even tho their albums might be a little too old at this point for this video

I know there is already rust in peace there, but youthanasia is easily a 10/10, and definitely is their second best album. Also the number of the beast by Iron Maiden is incredible
