6 years later and it's still the greatest song we've gotten.
ОтветитьSuch an amazing and perfect song
ОтветитьI'm listening to this on loop ever since I first heard it (maybe around 50 times so far). It's soooo gooooooddd... The melody, the lyrics, the meaning.. It reminds us that money doesn't give us happiness and that simplicity is a gift. It seems like I and a lot of people want an extended version because we really enjoy the song. I'm so happy I subscribed hahaha! I learn a lot from different stories, history, facts, songs, and a lot more! Plus I always learn something new, and I learn history with fun and ease here. I am working on a presentation right now and I feel very refreshed after watching the History of Paper Money series. Thank you so much Extra Credits! Keep up the great works! Godbless!!
ОтветитьI so want to learn that guitar part
ОтветитьIt is a crime that this is as underrated as it is

ОтветитьWe built all of this by working together.
Is it okay to have hope in eachother?
May we accept that we are to act hand in hand?
May we dance together and come out right?
Props to you for using and posting this and props to Sean and Dean for performing it so well. Joseph Brackett would be more than proud.
ОтветитьThis song is at least a solid 45 seconds too short. That bit at the end is soooo great, I want more!

ОтветитьLYRICS:
Tis the gift to be simple,
Tis the gift to be free,
Tis the gift to come down,
To where we ought to be.
And when we find ourselves,
In the place just right,
We’ll be in the valley,
Of love and delight.
Oh oh,
Oh oh,
Oh oh,
When true simplicity is gained,
To bow and to bend, we shan’t be ashamed,
To turn, to turn will be a delight,
Till by turning, by turning we come out right.
Love this version of simple gifts :)
ОтветитьThe World's Origins Chapter 8: The Great Money Crisis Theme Song
