Sir I am new to Video filming and my first choice was pocket 2 then I got to know about the Insta 360 x 3 and I fell in love with it. I am debating which one to buy as my first camera. I am om with editing.. What is your thoughts?

High quality mode does not increase bitrate, it applies noise reduction

If you also have a DSLR/Mirrorless I highly recommend getting a cold shoe adapter and try mounting the pocket to your main camera. It kinda looks like a shotgun mic or something and it is able to just record while you focus on the main camera. Depends on your work flow but there is a lot of potential for what you can do. If you’re main focus is photography you can get useable video as well, Or Take video on both and you get a stabilized “B cam”/ wide shot, while you have a tighter shot on the main camera.
Video from the pocket looks great because of the gimbal and doesn’t have to be babysat, and you get the advantage of having the pocket attached to a bigger rig so it doesn’t move as much

Pro Mode makes sense for a modern camera. It assumes that if you know how to manually adjust the advanced settings of this tech, you must know more like a pro, vs auto for consumer users.

you're commentary is way too fast to fully take it all in. slow it down

they must cause a higher current draw on sensor in cinelike rather than internal battery... just my suspicion and yes this camera gets pretty damn hot.

Not sure I got why Pro settings are better than the auto settings. You didn't go into details and I don't think there is a single pro setting that really worth the switch..
You also didn't detail the D-Cine advantage over the regular footage which seems to be fine to me..

What about the zoom wheel you can get ? Rather than use that nipple thing ?

How do you get it to continuously record. I noticed to chops a 20 min vid into 6 min chunks ?

I’m sorry for this seemingly dumb post but
I just opened the box and wand to fit the do it all handle so I need to remove the base unit and it won’t budge I don’t wanna force it and bust something I have really big hands I break a lot of stuff !
Do I just pull it of or what ?

Any special pc/computer requirements to process and make videos ? I have an Asus ..like 12 years old....Intel core 7 Nvidia Gforce GTX 770 etc my pc work with wiwndows 10 but it doesnt hold windows 11...so before to waste money i would apreciate if somebody could tell me that.Thanks guys

Question: when you set your own settings in the PRO mode, do they stay that way after you power the camera off. then on again? Thanks!

Not good advice about the charging. It has very specific instructions regarding battery life, like monitor the charging and disconnect once is fully charged, discharge the battery to 40-65% if you're not using the camera for more than 10 days, discharge and charge the battery once every 3 months to keep it in good condition.
I think leaving it alone and charging it capriciously is not a good option. The battery is not removable.
