Cool video. From observation i think that the cube can solve itself independent of the robot since the cube is powered. Place it on the table and it should still be able to solve itself, is this correct? Is the robot merely for holding the cube? If so, why is it also plugged into power?

You vs the machine: wouldn’t the cube need to be scrambled in the exact same way to accurately measure? Maybe the bot had easier cubes with less turns.

Since the app recorded your moves to jumble the cube, its not that impressive that it can undo the moves. How well does it do when it hasn't recorded your moves?
