I've been waiting for Baizhu for a long time and all the wait is worth it! His combination with Yelan, Diluc and Raiden is an icing on top. Pretty much a healer and shielder 100%

He sounds like Mr. Peabody in Sherman.

I wanted to revisit this video if only because I want to compare and contrast the Baizhu here (who can fight these Treasure Hoarders with effortless grace) to the one in-game (who lets out a dying sound whenever he starts running) :/

A couple of weeks ago, I had a dream that Baizhu had a completely different trailer, but the music was exactly the same.


It opened with him in plain clothing, doing his normal attacks alone in slow motion. A quick zoom in on his face, and he sheds a single tear. The implication is that he was in a bad accident and he is strength training. Also his face is shaped a bit differently, longer, like Natasha Star Rail.
Cut to another day, he is doing another strength exercise. I dont exactly know how to explain it, but this exercise is that he is pulling a toilet up a hill. His ankles are sort of attached to the base and his wrists are attached to the back of the tank, with sort of pillory-like shackles, and he has to run up the hill while dragging the toilet behind him. When he's almost at the top, his feet slip and the toilet starts dragging him back down the hill at an alarming speed. Suddenly, right when the beat drops in the music, it's like in a video game where you turn off the gravity because he suddenly bounces off the ground and just starts gently spinning in the air, still attached to the toilet. For this entire scene, the camera is aimed below his chest, focusing on his feet and hands, and his face is never shown.

So yeah, I woke up to the thought of Baizhu pinging off into the sky.
