So... a wild chain of thoughts just careened thru my mind all in an instant, and, they were kinda funny so im gonna share those thoughts... i just realized, that in the 41st millennium, any music from our time would be like, WAY Classical and old lol so, Tupac could be bumping along in some luxurious aristocrat's reclusium as he looked down upon everyone else as "unrefined" and "unable to appreciate the Classical Terran Thug" but shrugs it off and says to himself "I aint mad atchya" lol... i dunno, but it made me smile when it suddenly donned on me how very old anything from our current era would be and how it might've been preserved and appreciated in the year 40-thousand-and-some-odd. Sorry... my thoughts are often sporadic and i willingly share them equally as unfiltered as they arrive..

Oh my God i just thought of something quite horrifying... what if the Chaplain HAD sent Subject 696 into the nearest star, but, true to its previously displayed attributes, the star didnt kill it but only make it grow that much larger as it would be wounded all over, and replacing the wounded and destroyed parts equally as fast as they were annihilated. That sure would suck lol

I love the little detail of the Deathwatch Chaplain carrying around the master-crafted stasis bomb for over a decade. It just makes me imagine the battle brothers treating the chaplain like the guy who hoards all the potions in MMOs "Hey, are you ever going to use that?" "Shut up! So, if I was a betting man, I would say they are trying to make a viable host for their hivemind. Which would make the defensive nature of this hivefleet understandable. But I could be wrong. Just a guess...

Late but still. It'd be interesting if something was to cross over where for but a small moment in history, all life(?)/intelligence, banded together to fight it off, kill it, or send it back. Something so dangerous that even the gods in the known universe drop all there shit, and join in to help as well. Basically an outside entity/anomaly that literally scares the shit outta every1, an everything, in the 40k universe.

Even the Tyranids fear the Ghoul stars. A Fleet of Tyranid ships entered the area looking for biomass. They came out completely insane. They attacked and killed anything they encountered. I said KILL not eat. They left mountains of corpses everywhere they went. They even attacked other Tyranids. I don't know if the Imperium or the Tyranids killed them. But they were eventually put down. The Nids have never entered the Ghouls star's space again. Also I believe the area of space is slowly expanding.

Tiamat makes me think that maybe its the origin of the tyrinids the progenitor fleet and it settled because it needed a command and gathering area

I think subject 696 may come from the red room malice or is a mutation of something or a subject wrong because it seems like alex mercer, the thing or the creature you play as in carrion infact I'm pretty sure this thing is like a mixure of all of them from the look of it so the idea is not far off it may just be a lien from another planet or disease

I'd love to run some of the big boy cards in this deck but that vost to card ratio is tough. I'd love to see how you'd make some decks using each factions highest cost card (ones that you own anyways)

Hive fleet Tiamat - the Tyranids have anti survivlistic tendancies. Like a cancer, they destroy, consume and when the body is dead, they die. So, think evolution. The Tyranids will not survive as a species as they are now. But Hive fleet Tiamat seems to have evolved. It isn't devouring all life on the worlds. It's acting like a farmer, eating, allowing growth, harvest and repeat. This may also mean that the tyranids of this system have achieved true sentience. Especially as the queen seems to have physcher abilities now.

I love it when random Cthulian Abolinations and Lovecraftian Super-Technology appear in 40k, because it fits the setting and reminds us who's really driving the insanity just for giggles...

Maybe the Pale Wasting are an infohazard? Something that the more people who know about them... The more likely they are to return or the more dangerous they are. Could explain the purge.
