ОтветитьMeu notebook não carrega, nao segura ligado no carregador. Não sei o que fazer
ОтветитьIs that a temperature controlled soldering iron? If so, what temperature do you run it at?
ОтветитьWell, I was not expecting you to drink the tea with left hand... against the Sunnah of Prophet.
ОтветитьYou are AMAZING... I love watching you work. Thank You.
ОтветитьI think I have this issue in my spectre
Ответитьwhy does this happen though ? this happened to my spectre twice , got it fixed, last time was less than a few months ago and now it's busted again and will take it to repair tomorrow , I would like to know why this keeps happening ?
ОтветитьProfessional work 👌 👏
ОтветитьIn your opinion , is there certain laptops that you don't work on all the time?
ОтветитьThat smile on your face 😊 is enough for any dead artificial intelligence to come back alive.
ОтветитьIgnore their negativity. You are doing a very good job in showing us the understandable videos that we can learn from
Ответитьnow use honey as Flux
ОтветитьWith practice makes perfect
ОтветитьI love how the chips just seat themselves! No heavy hands necessary, Just patience and technique!
ОтветитьYour pride in workmanship and detailed repair methodology always keep me coming back to see your videos. Thank you. Excellent repair.

ОтветитьHi Brother Alex. I am interested to buy that comb you just demonstrated in starting the video. It looks fantastic for a repair shop 😃😃😃
Ответитьlove your videos!
Ответитьgreat job... I have the same problem but where do I find a guy like you in Sweden to fix mine?
ОтветитьYELP IS GARBAGE
ОтветитьHow safe is heating motherboard without removing keyboard for the keyboard membrane?
ОтветитьAlex You can find metallic plunger and needle for Amtech and sell it separately... Problem solved. ;)
ОтветитьI thought you don't work on 360's 😉😉 LOL
ОтветитьI like how you are happy and proud of yourself when you fix something. Don't change.
Ответитьwas trying to figure out why an older HP labor wasn’t booting up for a neighbor. i didn’t thunk of closely ¯\◔ー◔/ at some of the chips. i don’t have the. fancier tools to do the micro soldering and the awesome scope.
my guess was maybe the dc jack assembly was bad. did notice the R/T clock battery holder was cracked where soldered to board and repaired that. it’s an older machine but case and components still great shape.
i convinced him to buy a new one as suspected board was no good and it’s old.
It’s mine now for “parts” to donate, but will see if I can find anything wrong with if elsewhere
good vid. thanks
I never use flux and never hade any problem, does that mean i'm just very good at soldering? Or?
ОтветитьI think you forgot to unplug battery connector before replace chip, but thanks for god it would not make fault ,,,,,
All video time i was afraid about it , because i did same mistake and had troubles,
Thanks , you are amazing
Lunched in March 2015, these HP Spectre x360 seemed to be plagued with problems judging from the number of vlogs you done on these devices, Alex. In contrast, I have a Lenovo ThinkPad T530, a laptop purchased in August 2012 that has only had a Wi-Fi problem. Having had memory and solid state storage upgrades and a couple of keyboard replacements, it is still my everyday laptop 10-years later. That stated, I do have a Lenovo ThinkPad P1 GEN for my electronics repair business, a laptop purchased to drive a 43" UHD (3480 x 2160) display.
ОтветитьSurprised you didn't test the charger before connecting it to the laptop.
ОтветитьLet's be honest as a tech geek it is also good to spend a lot of time on the same board for hours and hours and hours if we have nothing to do for the whole day so as it would also improve myself😂
ОтветитьYelp is a crappy company
ОтветитьAs an Electronics engineer, I enjoy your videos.
ОтветитьI'd hate to do those type of chips
Ответитьmy gf spectre has similar issue, where laptop gets extremely hot if we plug it into first usb-c port but the second port has no such overheating issues
ОтветитьAnd just like that this is no longer on my shopping list.
ОтветитьDumb question but what is the other side of his multimeter connected to?
ОтветитьNice jobs bro
ОтветитьI see a man happy and proud of his work eliciting enjoying it while at the same time sharing his insight and experiences with others. Good on you mate. Like seeing videos like this.
ОтветитьIs it possible for shipping to ethiopia?I have a credit card 💳
ОтветитьLol dont burn your self
ОтветитьI've had a problem with old nintendo devices...
They want nintendo fixed. not a problem...
but after it is fixed they want me to send it to someone who is gonna "mod" it...
Ain't no way, That sounds like a return and complaint waiting to happen.
It's always that satisfaction when the device can turn it. It felt like a puzzle being solved. Great video. Make more of these please, with highlights of component failure.
ОтветитьAwesome!
ОтветитьWatching you work is so satisfying. I can only aspire to be half as good but I have learned a LOT in just two videos. Also, your deadpan joke delivery is stellar. LOLThanks for your time and effort.
ОтветитьI have been watching your video since my collage. Your are just awesome with everything on electronics. I just loved it. Could you please make videos on every component you use while fixing the devices. Thank you
ОтветитьI would love to see spread sheet showing a total of each laptop model fixed / no-fix to decided which ones are worth buying used. :-) I love what you do here adding value to life!
ОтветитьLooks like you can buy these USB C PD charge controllers from Texas Instruments themself so you don’t need to worry about Donor boards
ОтветитьBecause my hand is shaking, I always put a nut or screw that is smaller than the piece or piece on the IC, then I can easily heat it up.
