I have encountered a problem regarding installation.
I downloaded the Laravel project into xampp\htdocs. Now, when I command php artisan serve inside of the folder of project, it does give the server address but instead of saying Laravel development server started it says starting Laravel development server and it never starts. When I try to open the server, it keeps loading forever.

bit outdated cuz they changed the home page etc. also you forgot to tell us the lane of code to get the larava installer inside of composer. also what terminal software to use etc. anyway, its up and running anyway!
