ОтветитьHi Emma thanks a lot.
I'm struggling to understand one thing more about this subject, the fact about the comparison is cristal clear. My struggle kkkkk is:
What pronoun should we use after "than" and after "as".
(I, you, he, she, it, we, they) or (me, you, him, her, it, us, them)?
I know about the possibility of ambiguity in this case. I'm wonder what of these senteces below are correct:
1)
A)Elias is as tall as me.
B)Elias is as tall as I am.
C)Elias is as tall as I.
2)
Roger is thinner than me.
Roger is thinner than I am.
Roger is thinner than I.
Here below the ambiguity shows up.
Ana likes Helena more than me.
Ana likes Helena more than I do. (here is clear: right?)
Ana likes Helena more than I like. (is this correct?) Sounds clear (i think)
Ana likes Helena more than she (Ana) likes me. (is this correct?)
Thanks for anyone who shows up and help me with this. THANK YOU!
Great explanation thanks
ОтветитьShe is the best teacher. After watching this video many of doubts are cleared.
