How to Fix USB Ports Not Working in Windows 10 [FAST]

the problem for me was having an xbox controller plugged in and a hard drive at the same time so i had to move the xbox to a port not next to the external hard drive

Iv tried everything i think some of my ports are just fried they dont work at all.

Very helpful, especially when you can use the usb slots like keyboard/mouse to actually do any of the changes. Very nice (sarcasm)

disabling "turn on fast startup" worked for me

I only have one usb port that recently stopped working and I tried it all and still didn't work. Highend asus motherboard 1.5 year old.

Thank you for your video. As of last week all of my usb pports have stopped recognizing external usb drives. they no longer show up in file explorer or disk managment. When plugged in device manager may show a yellow triangle, but updating drivers, or installing and unistalling has not worked. Interestingly the drives will recognize a usb mouse. I have tried what you suggested with no luck. My regedit does not have the files you said to delete, but it does have an additional entry:

Last delete date REG_BINARY 09 ee a9 bf a2 d901.

Should I delete that ? Thanks for trying.
