Nokia Lumia 1020 Camera Grip Unboxing and Review

This guy is so underrated. In fact, my favourite tech/accessories reviewer.

When I first saw this I wondered why they didn't make it accept lens attachments

After being a Nokia fanboy for a decade, Nokia needs to make android phones now so I can come back to them (my first love).

If you haven't tried Windows Phone you should, it's a great mobile OS!

Yeah I have.. it just doesn't intrigue me enough. I'll probably give it a try again one day though

I agree. I think WP8 is holding Nokia back. A Lumia 1020 running Android would be a dream of mine. WP8 is decent but it needs a update badly. The new update in the fall could not come fast enough

Ha you may be surprised. I only use iMovie. I will be stepping up soon to either Premier Pro or Final Cut Pro but all of my videos have been edited entirely in iMovie.

probably wont since the 1020 is flat and the 920 is curved but you could make your own possible out of something

well, it IS optional. It's just like he said, if you wanted to use it all day as a point-and-shoot its a little more comfortable and easier to use. It's just a case you can take it off later if you wanted

good review but I think you seem to assume that this camera grip is going to always be on the phone specially when your browsing the phone saying it does not get in the way etc etc this is just for if you know your going to take pictures of certain things or if your going to a party you then take it with you, I very much doubt it was made for people to constantly have it on the phone

nope it should not and does not need it at all not many cameras are touchscreen hence why they have a separate record button. this is touchscreen so you just need to touch the video mode lol so why have a extra button when its right there anyway

yes but your GF3 does not have a record button on the touchscreen like the phone has therefore you need it on the camera itself I can see why some people may have wanted on but its nothing major

You and viewers might wanna check the warranty as nokia offers only 6 months of warranty for their phone accessories, especially bluetooth headsets. Pretty bad considers the industry standard is usually 1 year.

checkout the total difference between iphone 5s and nokia 1020 and any dslr cam...which 1 is better plzz

I have to say that I had big hopes for the Nokia 1020 changing from my Iphone 4. Yes the camera is as good as any pocket camera. I like the bigger screen and the windows interface is easy to get used to. BUT I will today be changing my phone for the second time. The first phone had a battery issue. It would drain in less than 5 hours. The second one has bluetooth problems(conected to the car radio) keeps on switching of and has to resync. The autofocus of the camera doesn't work at "macro" lengths so I have to do that manually. Something is loose in the camera compartment even thought I havent droppped the phone. Third phone in 2 weeks of use. I am really not convinced nokia has made a durable product...
