Remove Fan Noise From Microphone, OBS, (Without Audacity) 2018

If your microphone is shart you don't need the noise gate, it could cause some low spots to not pick up but id recommend just testing with noise suppression first to see if it's needed.

The room I record in gets uncomfortably hot so I'm forced to turn on a couple of loud fans. When i'm silent, my mic does not pick up any of the background fan noises (thanks to my filters, compressor, expander, and noise surpressor) but when I talk into my mic, you can hear a little bit of the fan noise in the background (only when I talk) would Noise gate be able to prevent this?

tried out the noisegate and it seems to just mute mic, so now its not working on obs

Any idea how to stop it picking up fan noise when you talk, I have a gaming laptop which runs at turbo and max fan speeds that can't be heard when when I'm not talking but as soon as I talk you can hear the fans slightly which makes the mic audio sound pants, it's not as bad when actually playing a game due to game noise but in quiet parts it's sounding terrible.

I did this and whilst you can no longer my fan all the time you can hear it when I am talking, is theer any way to fix this without having to use a third party program like Krisp?

When I add noise suppression it’s great when I don’t talk, no noise in background but when I start talking it picks up fan or any noise in background and it’s rly annoying, how do I fix it

First search I found that didnt ask me to install about 5 plug ins to fix this issue, cheers :)

OBS helps a lot by fully suppressing the fan noises but how can I apply those "filters" outside OBS, discord detects the noise and so do my friends of course, I can't find a way to suppress it.
Is there a program to edit my microphone settings?

How come my Noise Suppression looks different? It only shows a "method" option with a drop-down menu where you can choose "Speex" (lower cpu usage) and "RNNoise" (higher cpu usage)?

There's no ability to adjust suppression level?
