God this is emotional. Completely heartbroken, didn't think this day would come for another 2 years at least. But he's going out on his own terms with his own reasons, can only respect his honesty. Can only hope once he takes a rest for a couple of years he might return to the club recharged but that's optimistic thinking. He'll leave Liverpool comfortably on the club's Mount Rushmore along with Shankly, Paisley and Dalglish. He'll never be forgotten for everything he's done for the club and for the fans.
A quadruple would be a lovely signing off for him. ❤

I'm Gonna Miss this man Soooo Much. He is the Best we have Ever had (in my eyes) Certainly the best I've seen and I have seen Houllier, Rafa and Dalglish and Klopp is the BEST. Wow, just wow...I'm not a Liverpool fan (although I often wish I had chosen them as my English team), but I am a huge Klopp fan and I thought that this was a marriage made in heaven, a perfect fit...I still think so, actually...

This is such a Klopp thing to do, pure integrity...a humble man who loves the game, clearly loves Liverpool...doing what he thinks is best for the club and himself...truly a class act...I really hope that most will respect his decision and the timing of this announcement and try to make the remainder of the season as brilliant as possible...that would be the proper way to part ways...

I have to admit that this does make me very sad....I love watching his teams play, especially his Liverpool teams...but, at the same time I am happy for him as he is doing it his way and is clearly getting on with his life as he chooses to....Good on him!

It's strange, while I do support another club I now want Liverpool to win everything they can this year as a fitting tribute to such a great manager and human being...that would be true poetry in a world that increasingly seems to lack grace.
