Mumbai is a hot and dusty place. You have to take in the heat and the dust. It is NOT the real India, but only a tiny fraction of India. India is extremely diverse.

Hi , we all know that we have to significantly improve our civic infrastructure so Eurocentric people could enjoy walking in Indian streets. The real power of India lies in the very fact Indian productivity per capita adjusted to green house emissions remains one of the highest in the world. In this , and many other streets , we manufacture goods and provide services to millions of people on this planet . In the UK , from where I writing this comment, 120000 people died this year waiting for their treatment in NHS. In the UK, approximately 360000 people died in last three years just waiting for their treatment. Last year 50000 people died waiting for an ambulance. Around 200000 people are home less and they are not allowed to live in “slums” like we allow them in India. UK looks clean and organised from outside , and many parts of India looks chaotic and unorganised as compared to Western Europe. But India is healthy from within. Our systems work , we grow food for 1.4 billion people and almost never run out of supplies in markets. India also spends around 5.2 percent of her GDP on education which is closer to Western Europe. From these slums and unorganised areas , we produce some of best people on the planet because of culture of discipline, hard work and dedication.

Some parts of Los Angeles look like that. But i think it's sad the wealth and poverty is so extreme. There should be social services in India and birth control options. Basic food and provisions for shelter, sewage and trash removal. Paved roads and traffic signals FFS

Well you cannot say real India as you are going in to a slum area of a big city and trying to portray it as India. You should visit other 95% of the city which has housing societies and are not slums. I can say it because I am born and bought up in Mumbai.
