Someone was just authentically fed up with twitch, they never linked peoples personal information, just the sites actual code so that competitors could rise up, they just don’t like the site’s management, Big guys can do whatever they want but the little guys get banned as soon as they say one bad word.
As usual just like r/wallstreetbets gamestonk, it’s 4Chan or an offshoot of 4Chan that does some thing that really challenges the big guy.

Changing your password isn't a bad idea but let's face it ... The hackers out there don't care about your Twitch channel with 5 followers that's unpartnered. The real people who need to change passwords and set 2fa are the big streamers (especially the top 100) because people will want to hold those channels/accounts ransom to make some quick money.

Is Twitch some how connected to the game roblox? I hear that roblox users are changing their password because of this reason.

The data that was leaked is huge. There is data about their configuration automation systems (ansible/puppet/chef). About SSH users, their active directory etc. There are root ca's in the leak etc. People only think about the source code and how much streamers earn, but this leak opened up so many holes in Twitches systems that this is hackers paradise.

Man, is Twitch ever going to have good news?! 🤣 My email got hacked several months ago and ever since I have done 2FA on literally everything. Be vigilant, protect your data at all cost people!
