Strong hates everything

Don’t get me wrong, strong is deff one of the better companions, but his morality is too much for a post apocalyptic setting 😂😂

i use to have companion in settlement, now i just send they all back to original place and homeless one to 1 settlement i barely go or usually hangman alley, god, they all chime together are fvcking annoying.

Dogmeat is abysmally bad. He has low health and carry capacity, does little damage, blocks pathways, grants no perk, cannot be strengthened through equipement/roboworkbench, cannot be romanced and is only somewhat viable with the Lone Wanderer perk.

I wish they had made curie breakdown like the other of her kind do once she goes it to a body

I like all the perks they're just exta skill to have. My favorite traveling companin is Dogmeat as its the only one that shuts the hell up. Lol

Danse and Piper are the best companions overrall. Danse is too op, he just doesnt fall and has a pretty good laser rifle and its pretty accurate with the shoots. Piper has a 10mm Pistol which is a great weapon, she doesnt reload too much like hancock or cait. Curie just kepts trying to punch enemies which i found disappointing because she has a decent base weapon. Deacon is not so good but his perk is the best one.

Danse > Piper > Cait > Hancock > Deacon > Curie

The other ones i didnt played too much to rank them.

Just give synth Curie a power armor and you basically turned the game into easy mode

I don't know if this is common, but deacon seems to have a really low tolerance 4 pain. "Ouch! Ouchouchouch"

Cait is my favorite companion by far, i love her accent and her companion quest is really fun

The moment I get through auto-matron I turn codsworth into a monster

I never do the Beotherhood playthrough because im a simp for Nick 😭

I like Nick Valentines hacking ability. He can hack any terminal even master ones so you don't have to.

Piper is the easiest to befriend. Just spam minutemen quests and help settlers and stuff. Easy xp. Stack some caps. And max her out fast. Part of her perk is to get more Xp whenever u discover a new location so that’s why she’s like an early game priority. What good is an xp boost when I’m only two levels away from the level cap?

The Best is easily Dogmeat

Strong doesn't like it when you heal your dog. yeah-that guy can get fucked. >:/

I once gave strong a minigun mid fight and equip it then 2 seconds later he pulls out his pipe rifle

Porter gage surprised me when he'd drop 2 or 3 enemies fast when I was used to doing all the work. My assaultron codworth is a genocide machine, watching him destroy is funny, "come here you scalliwag".
Can't stand danse and strong getting in the way all the time.
On my second playthrough I now understand why people use dogmeat. I'm on a stealthy mercenary character and just get good boy to wait back while I knife a few raiders. Also with dogmeat you don't see "X hated that". He's down for everything, murder, theft, being evil/nice, etc

Strong absolutely sucks. He dislikes you repairing power armour.

Not a cannibal, but was able to maximize Strong's affinity very quickly - even though would hear him complain about me picking locks and wearing power armor. What Strong seemed to like most was "fighting skills" I use a .308 Rifle that I maxed out with workbench modifications, thus usually get 1-hit kills. Seems like every time I killed an enemy, Strong commented "Strong like you, good fighter" As soon as I received Strong's perk, I moved on to another follower.

Also earned Longfellow's perk very quickly. Then again, I used him mainly on The Island, and only a handful of "mainland" quests. I've probably used Ada and Nick Valentine the most. Strong, is well, strong, and generally great in combat. Right now, trying to earn McCready's perk.

I must point out how Ada can be transformed into a mass destruction agent of laser chaos

I'd say the worst companion is Strong by a fair margin because his likes and dislikes are far too counter-intuitive, especially compared to most companions. He punishes you for doing well, such as picking locks/hacking computers, and succeeding in speech checks.

Maccready. Hes shitty at combat, dislike everything you do, the only reason im sticking with him is for his perk.

Worst by miles: Dogmeat. Always gets in the way of where you want to move.
Best for me: Nick Valentine with his biting humour
Or Ada fully kitted out, so no more need for stims except in a dire emergency.

Vpg: you can give companions better weapons
Me: buys Gatling laser minigun just to give it to danse

I dont have anyone but the dog and i have that perk that boosts some things when you travel alone obvs the dog doesnt count as a companion

I like Codsworth in survival mode as he gives purified water every now and then.

I have to say this is the only video I've seen that said synth curie is bad I completely disagree with curie being bad if you want to see why I think that watch mah dry breads companion tier list

Ada or any companion from the automatron DLC is horrible At stealth
And when you look at them, they will say something like “ are you ready to depart?” And that also makes them annoying.

Bro here's the thing about Ada. If you give her the right mods she annihilates enemies like nothing

I run Piper for everyday normal gaming. She is easy on the eyes and often likes my quest conversation choices. But heading out into say the glowing sea, or a big battle, by far the best companion (and this is by an almost unmeasurable margin) a self built robot from the DLC. My bot runs dual gat lazer guns. There is literally nothing in the game that can beat it. The reason I dont run with it all the time is because it makes the game boring having such an OP companion.

The flea bag dog is WORST

I was surprised ADA wasn’t high up in here. She is a tank! Once you build her up, her laser and especially her Melee attack are crazy strong. Though she doesn’t have a special perk. She also tends to run right through floor mines and traps, and isn’t great at being quiet. She tends to just engage who ever, killing them, even if you were trying to play it stealth. But still she is a beast in a heavy fight. My most disliked companion is Strong. He is never satisfied with any choice, and belittles you/the player constantly haha.

In my opinion i do know that Codsworth is pretty lousy in late-game but he brings a nice mood into the game by being optimistic and i would honestly say that the worst attitude companion would have to be Ada but that's probably because i have seen my dad play fallout 4 up to level 200 about 16 times with only Ada.

I thought all the companions suck in survival. Feel like lone perk is much better to have in survival rather than wasting all your stimpacks on them.

Strong is bestman.

I mainly choose my companions based on my run.

E.g: Danse for brotherhood build, X6-88 for institute run etc.

Ada is the best girl, I gave her robobrain head for massive range, assaultron torso and legs, and sentry arms with gatling laser and lightning gun. Full voltaic armor for that sweet carry weight and energy damage buff. She’s a literal killing machine.
