I love Scruffy’s video essays, they’re so well developed and have a stunning way of speaking to the watcher, and including them with examples, the well thought out script of including music theory and deep research is too admirable. The video genuinely made me cry, making me finish the songs before you even finish the first note, making me think “oh.. I missed this :((“
But explaining how and why it’s catchy and memorable with the assortment of notes on its scale just made me that much more interested in taking my orchestra class seriously. I love this video so much, it’s so well-developed, and better to watch than to only listen to, because the visuals are so cute and appealing.

I searched for this, I don't know why

I was 7 years old when this game came out. My oldest brother was home from college, and we got this game for Christmas along with Nintendoland and Game & Wario.
Hearing the Bowser theme from this game makes me cry. Without fail, every time. I don't know why, but something struck a chord in little me's head, and it has been permanently cemented as the best villain theme ever.

This idea that the tritone was ever associated with the devil in the medieval and Renaissance period has been debunked as myth for many years now, so I always cringe whenever I hear it being falsely repeated. Aside from that, tho, I still found the video quite good.
