Can you please let me know if this would work on an area rug? We’ve washed our rug 2 times , third time used enzyme cleaner. I still smell cat urine. The problem is that originally there must have been a spot that the cat did her business on. since we washed the entire rug now the whole thing has an odor. I am so mad and feel like if we clean it a 4th time the result will be the same …

Do you just let it air dry and never towel it it rinse it? I have a peed on treadmill belt.

This works great! My cat peed on my bed twice because my daughter had closed the bedroom door, I used it on my mattress and the smell is gone.
Trying this on the floor too. The dawn power dish soap scent is strong and helps neutralize the smell it seems. I’ve also tried using the foam shower spray, which help with cat pee too.

I am so thankful that you shared this. After searching and searching seems most believe cat pee is forever, unless you use enzyme cleaners. All I know is that my house is not smelling!! (I do use an enzyme cleaner for newly found areas) Cannot thank you enough!!

My washing machine had a mold smell which smelled up the laundry area. I poured some in the machine, and let it dry. No more odor.
