Xsplit vs OBS = Paying vs Free Software!

This video is pretty old now. I am sure it is still very relevant. In fact that is why I am leaving a comment. I have been using vMix for years and I find it to be better than almost all of the other solution out there including Xsplit and OBS. Oh and they have a free SD version and paid versions ranging from $60 to $1200. I would recommend anyone that reads this to go check them out and NO I DON'T GET PAID BY THEM, I am a user like you and I bought my copy to do my show and it ran Super Smooth because of it.

OK so i agree and dont agree OBS sucks if you dont have a good pc but if you have a bad pc and use xsplit it works fine

you lied you said you can do everything with obs that x stiplt does but you cant pay for obs lol

The next recording software I use is Xsplit because I can't use obs and action software I use is bandicam ( If Xspilt suck this more suck just just don't use it) . If Xsplit don't work I probably reset window to use it or other software

dood xsplit is fine without paying it records mp4 format and dosent make ur voice sound like crap and plus u can make ur quality better on sony vegas noob

My audio takes a shit and my CPU is really overtaxed when using OBS. I don't understand it. I've got an FX-8370, 16GB of 1866mhz ddr 3 RAM, and an R9 390. I struggle to stream Titanfall 2 at max settings that usually runs smooth. Not the case with xsplit.

In OBS you can stream in every resulution you want. 4K (For Example)
The Only Limit, in witch resulution you can stream, is your internet speed.

None of this really helped me find a recording software. I'm just running into a bunch of people on both sides saying the other has massive issues.

i didnt understand him as there are more than 1 options for what to download
some do charge but others are for free
i bought mine for free and it is best quality

Irregardless of which software is better, this video is merely a demonstration on how not to make a review video. Ill informed, incorrect positive and negative facts in regards to both pieces of software and a blatant display of personal bias.

I have been streaming on and off for the past year and a half and have always used obs and found xsplit shit. However after trying xsplit I have found it runs ALOT better. As obs just makes games run shit on even the best computers (i7-4790k) there are also many more features that you can do with xsplit allowing a more advanced stream set-up if you take the time. My opinion is I think many people don't like xsplit for one is it looks like it's made for a 12 year olds and also you have to every 3 months for it (or 12,24,36,9999 months) however it can do a lot more advanced stuff than obs and worth the price of $8.95 that is less than most other subscription services.
