What if the other cable sucks?? I have got the rights side of dpy working, it seems kike the blue side is bad

Ive swap all the boards and nothink then just come across this video done what you did with some celotape and its work, why does it work and how long will it work for?

What kind of tape is that?

Thank you so much for sharing this solution. When turning on the tv this morning our tv's picture failed but the backlight was still active. We have this exact tv and found after contacting LG's support LG's warranty is only 1 year, and our tv is a little over 2 years so warranty expired. After unplugging one of the ribbon cables we found the image was showing fine on the right side of the tv but not the left. We found your solution worked perfectly, the only difference being we had to apply tape on the opposite side (3 pins from the left side of the ribbon cable) to get it working. :)

I have a LG 43UM6950DUB with black screen. The back light is illuminated.
I have alternately disconnected the left and right ribbon but never had a half screen picture during test. I have replaced the EBU65202211 main board. I continue to have the same problem.

I have the black and white half and half when either top or bottom is taken out. But I done tape trick on bottom no go. So I tried top again no go. Any ideas please
