How to Use EZdrummer with Your Electronic Kit

Hi I just got it but how can you ad inputs? I mean Im pluging a td3 and td9 at the same time and the drum kit has 6 toms and 7 cymbals, so how can I set custom sounds to each of my pads??

Awesome - Thank you for showing how to change the default setup of the kit. I've been trying to use the Timpani from EZDrummer 3 Expansion Classic Rock ( the John Bonham kit ) for a Classical orchestral type part.
And now the possibilities are endless to create new custom kits.

Are you able to create a kit and save it to your ekit? Or do you have to open the program everytime? Hopefully this question makes sense.

Can I do this with the Roland TD-1K kit??

Great video! I'm quite a novice at e-drumming. I have owned an ALESIS DM10-Pro kit since probably 2009, and about the only upgrade I've ever done to it has been putting mesh heads on it (with questionable success). It's not the latest. It's not the greatest, but it's what I have to work with right now. I'm not even sure if that model is still supported by ALESIS or not or if that even matters to get better sounds out of it. Is an old DM10 Pro still relevant?
I guess I need an "E-Drums 101" type video to learn some of the basics first. I'm not sure where to begin. Any advice? - Anyway, I need to learn how to utilize it better now. I'm joining a band that uses Band Helper Software, which can save sounds for every song for every instrument in the bands set list, but first, I need to learn how to program new and better sounds into my old DM10-Pro.

I'm sorry, i'm brand new to this. I have the alesis strike pro se. I don't understand how the kit is physically connected to the computer. Is with midi cables or LR main outs? I just need to know what cables i need. LOL... this is embarrassing.

Been waiting for a solution for this. Does anyone know if this works with all VST's (Steven Slate, etc..) The sounds in these VST's are FAR superior to what Roland/Alexis is doing...which I do NOT get given that it's not like Roland doesn't have the capability. If you're looking for a GREAT feeling practice tool, with one killer sounding kit, this is the way to go. Most players don't want, nor care about 2000 sounds in a module. They want one or two that compare to their pro level kit. And, they want it to feel good...not this trampoline feel. If the manufacturers have gotten the feel part down, then you can get the rest via EZ Drummer.

I cannot get this to work for my TD-25KV. I updated the Mac drivers, and I have EZDrummer running in Studio One. ATOM SQ triggers the drums fine, but when I go to MIDI/E-Drums and select my TD-25 I get nothing. USB is connected from my TD module into my Mac. My EZDrummer Settings screen looks nothing like this at all. No sample rate options, for example. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I will submit trouble tickets to Roland and EZ Drummer I guess.

Do you use your headphones connected to the module or the computer for this? If you use headphones from the module does the software override the sounds from the module or do they overlap?

I want it!.. the TD 50 and EZdrummer 3. or Superior drummer 3. I'm still on the old Td25 and Td 11 linked together with 8 mesh pads, 8 roland cymbals. double bass pedal. bk125 snare. all I worry about is latency with these programs. It has to be as minimal as drum module for me.

So you need to have an audio interface? I was hoping I could just send the output from EZD3 to TD27v2 and hear it through headphone connected to TD27v2...No??

Not every single E drums are listed there. There's no Tourtech Drums for example...

Hello, in my computer my cpu is a AMD Ryzen 5 5500U with Radeon Graphics, BUT in the toontrack page it says: "Systems requirements: macOS 10.10 or higher, Intel or Apple silicon processor"
Does it mean I can not run the software on my computer? :(
