Good video mate and help, but my mac still not charging and it doesn’t even recognise / show the battery. It’s basically a desktop now and turns off if unplugged. Any ideas? The battery has disappeared from system preferences also 😢

My MacBook has been getting slower and slower to the point it’s acting like an old windows computer infested with malware. My thermal log had it clocked at limited to 27%, also sounded like the fans were never spinning. Reset SMC, everything back to normal -_-

bloody legend mate, my macbook was showing that I was charging it even tho nothing was plugged in, shut it down several times and it still showed the same. Did what u told me and now its back to normal. cheers

Mat I would love to say thank you for this video definitely helped me fix the issue my issue was I could log in but it wasn’t recognizing the same password to allow me access my passwords or install software or give permissions to other apps generally I was locked out from with in but this reset fixed whatever it was that was not working…. I had honestly given up.

My MacBook Pro is the one with touchbar but is a intel i7. My problema is that it is plugged on charger, but battery doesnt charges anymore. It looks like the macbook doesnt regognize the energy source, ive tryed all those but doenst work for me 😢 now the power is over and i dont know how to solve this problem 😢 anybody who has the same issue?
