How To Record in FL Studio

I have been trying to open the audio set up according to the given instructions. but it doesn't show the mic input but error , so what should i do please let me know thank you,

Hi great tutorials. Im a very new beginner to all this and When I select my fast track pro interface I loose all sound from fl20 and have to keep switching between the two to check the recording, surely I'm doing something wrong? Or is this normal?

Is there a way to use one recording track channel and send them to a channel with effects, and when they get recorded on the playlist they automatically go to the insert with effects? Rather than going into the first recording track and thennn being sent. Hopefully this makes sense. That’s how FL 12 was for me and it was perfect for my work flow

Cool program. Nice job explaining. I've used Adobe Audition for over 20 years, Cool Edit early on. This FL Studio is a little more complicated.

oh fuck so i need just one mixer for record and send it to my main vocal/Hook/Ad Lips/Backings. i copied my plugins for my main vocal where i record to every mixer and record from there again dayum and i send everything to the master mixer channel thats wrong too i guess?

I’m so confused how did you get your mic to be in the asio area mine is in the direct sound devices please help

My mic appears in direct sound devices not asio devices so when I try to select it in the mixer it’s grey and doesn’t let me

Man, my fucking kingdom for an app that simply allows you to record multiple parts with no latency.
I don't need an overly complex 'Protools mini', I just want to be able to quickly record a guitar part then quickly add a second or more parts to it. Why on earth has this not been made yet?

i have a question. i cant find it anywhere but i wanted to record fl keys over some drum beats i made... but it captures the drum beat as well. how do i just record the keys without recording the drums under it?

When i try to record under a vocal recording it brings my next recording along with a new track at the bottom of the project so there’s too much space between my vocals recordings do someone know how to fix that?
