Hello everyone. I recommend you watch this one full screen or on a computer so you can see the cracks more clearly. They look bloody tiny on a phone screen! - Gav
ОтветитьThen why no sonic boom
ОтветитьIt’s actually spherical. Doesn’t look that way with a flat sheet but it radiates out in a spherical pattern.
ОтветитьIn case anyone was looking for the short answer it’s approximately 3,000 mph. So almost 4X the speed of sound.
ОтветитьAny info on ruperts straw shatter speeds🤔
ОтветитьWithout the paint, the speed would surely exceed 6,000 km/h.
Ответитьhammer glass slow motion slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow mo guys video please🙏
ОтветитьMach 4.3
Your bowels after PinkSauce
Dear Gav and Dan - please time the breaking speed of a Prince Rupert's drop
ОтветитьMach 4.2 gives the best idea
ОтветитьDude I did not see him holding the glass at the beginning hahaha😂
ОтветитьPainting with Dan in SloMo?
ОтветитьI bet tempered glass is faster than normal glass.
ОтветитьDoes the paint slow it down?
ОтветитьFun fact: if the earth was made of glass, we’d all die.
ОтветитьWoww
ОтветитьI’m not sure why I find it so weird but it’s interesting that the glass cracked at almost a mile a minute, just under actually. But converting the speed to KM/hr it ended at the exact amount of feet that a mile is, 5,250. Idk I just find it odd when things align like that lol 😆
ОтветитьDoes thickness make a difference in the speed??
ОтветитьHow many speed does glasscrack
ОтветитьI wonder how many glass blenders they had at the end of this?
ОтветитьI think the one foot paint markers may have affected the cracking speed a little bit.
like it might have acted as some sort of elastic band I guess?
Faster than a bullet
ОтветитьOn TAOFLEDERMAUS, they drove an aluminum airsoft BB at 5,266 ft/s (1,605 m/s)!
ОтветитьAmazing speed but keep in mind the paint probably slowed it down.
ОтветитьIf only loading bars moved that consistently 😔
ОтветитьAnyone else surprised they are using feet and not centimeters given the way they talk.
ОтветитьInteresting ... I am willing to donate a sheet to cover the bloody fence ...
ОтветитьI wish I could live wherever these guys live, where it's perpetually summer
Ответитьok, am I the only one who is fascinated by Gav HEAR, its litterale perfect :o
ОтветитьWhat I would prefer as an answer is why the initial break propagates into millions of pieces where as old glass would only turn into shards?
ОтветитьI was curious ok?
Ответить"there's a dislike button too that's always fun"
Not anymore. RIP.
Did anyone else not even notice the glass in Dan's hand at the beginning until he said "oh here's one!"
Ответить“What goes Mach 4.2 apart from spaceships?”
Spaceships, which go at Mach 23: You underestimate my power!
God loves you❤
ОтветитьWow, that happens to be almost exactly the speed of sound in water!
ОтветитьI watched the slow mo guys at double speed and there's nothing you can do about it
Ответитьyou mentioned lizard skin as a benign simile but there you go. dispersion of force follows the path of least resistance and the same goes for pathways of force dispersion amidst cells in plant leaves and animal skin. the same physics that determines the shape of glass shards determines the veins in leaves and the patterns of cells on your joints. anything that flexes when it wasn't originally built to do that is going to need some way of getting rid of excess force and those patterns are it
ОтветитьMach 4.2 🤯
ОтветитьI love to see things animals like us are not supposed to see
ОтветитьFortnite fracture event leak
ОтветитьSuper
ОтветитьSomeone out there let me know, wouldn’t the paint slow down the break at all? Even the tiniest amount?
ОтветитьTo answer your question about speed, there is at least 1 plane that goes above mach 4.2.
