I miss Andor so damn much.

The beginning of the Rix Road theme feels like an approaching storm

Wow! I didn't even noticed that they were different!

The melody in Episode 10 sounds like Cal's theme from Jedi: Fallen Order!

Andor is the best thing ever happened to star wars...

I know they only gave Michael Giacchino four and a half weeks to compose the score for Rogue One, and he was a last minute replacement to do the score on that film, but what he did was so disappointing next to the likes of John Williams on the main films. It's such a pathetic, even irritating score for most of the film. Much of it feels obvious, and the rest is jarring. From the very first moment you can tell it's not John Williams and it's not even close. It doesn't feel like Star Wars. It doesn't feel like the music has any real connection to Star Wars and the universe at all. The music is immediately forgettable, and you're glad to forget.

Nicholas Britell, the composer for Andor, has a real talent, and notably he was able to start scoring the series before filming even began. Showrunner Tony Gilroy insisted on that, so they could have the theme be used as diegetic music in the funeral for episode 12. It's meant to be amateurish, "street music" at its core. And then it got cleaned up a bit, using different instrumentation, for each episode's theme. It's directly linked into the show, into the world, into where the character Andor comes from.

For most shows I watch, I pay very little attention to titles and end credits, often skipping the latter, but the Andor music gripped me immediately, and I took the time to enjoy every second of these episodes. I didn't want to miss a note, and it had my full attention.

When more thought is put into weekly theme music than the entirety of your sibling series put together. Andor is a gem among turds.

By the last episode i almost got a tear in my eye

Episode one makes you feel like you were taken back a few decades and you are about to sink in to an absolute sci-fi epic while you are back there.

Ok episode 10 is so beautifully melancholy…. It slowly reverberates and the violins sound so humble and it’s just perfect, like it’s a calm before the storm.

I’m very happy that someone looked at Cassian Andor, and decided: “let’s make his character one of the greatest characters in Star Wars history.” Absolutely beautiful piece of art this show is

Does anyone notice that starting from episode 10, the theme starts to sound a bit like Rogue One?

Episode 12 still gives me goosebumps

I am still in awe of this f****g season. My faith in the universe of Star Wars was, just like that, completely restored

10, 11 and 12 are my favourites with the way they use the countermelody

After a couple of listens, I have to say "Nobody's Listening!" is my favorite version.

bro this show was such a banger but the sad thing is that andor was better than boba fett and kenobi and maybe even better than mandalorian bc it had like 12 episodes to actually tell a real connected story and not 6 episodes rush

If you combine them all they make a beautiful symphony. There are videos out there about it

I love them all, but especially 12 because it's played with the same brass band instruments as Maarva's funeral, which, just thinking about it gives me goosebumps. Awesome show. Awesome theme song.
