I got this song so so wrong 1st time i heard it, and watched this video as a recovering alcoholic, i thought he was an alcoholic, Dam was i wrong, 1st time i heard it i loved the tune, his voice, then i stopped watched it again listened to it, and it hit me like running into a brick wall, my eyes watered, iv been suffering with depression my mother thinks im bi polar, i think she just doesn't understand addiction, wouldn't wish any of this on anyone, this songs hits home, everytime i listen to it, as sad as it is, its good for u too release them tears, coming from being a recovering alcoholic, im now beginning to write kids novels and also a song writer, in my songs il only write what i know about, songs like this help so much, so please if ur feeling down, lift the fone, talk to someone, il just say about 3wks ago, i was for leaving had the rope out id had enough, luckily police kicked my door in and got me before i could go any further, i got treatment medication changed, friends family talked to me, today im happy and loved and so are you, ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

2023 this year has hit me harder then any other year has ever, I lost my baby siblings to addictions. my youngest brother and my only sister. so much pain and tears... I cant help but feel like, I failed. failed as a big brother. so much thoughts of "i should of done this, should done that" " hope I said that, I know I said this" all I'm left with is... I got to do better! I now look to in roll school for mental health & addictions. My healing journey has began, and I will do better. prayers & much love!

As a mom that lives with depression anxiety PTSD and also addiction and a lot of trauma this song really resonates and helps me think of all things that I am slowly overcoming I don't think anything in life could be bad enough to make you take your own life when there's so many people you can reach out to that can make a difference so many professionals that can help you in so many different ways when you need it the most

She killed herself? It's only ok to kill yourself if you're totally alone. Doesn't matter how depressed you are because at the end of the day she didn't just kill herself, she also murdered that mans wife. How could she do that to him.

My youngest brother ended his life at 36 years old. I don't think he had a clue that the pain he was ending for himself was gonna be spread out among everyone that loved him. The guilt. The questions. The what ifs!

This song has "The Bright Light at the End of the Tunnel" effect on my relationship between my love(she's my best friend,my daughter's mother, my soon to be wife) and I!! We have been together since 6/8/09... And everyone has always found it enchanting how we used to get lost in each others eyes, we never would spend a moment apart..but i needed a better job and started working out-of-town monday to thursday night..and my love would turn into an anti social hermit for them days i was working..when i would get back ever Thursday night, it felt like our first date all over again!!!! Then i got into drugs and robbed her of her emotional security...i wouldn't answer my phone, take my time getting home, and when i was home i would be focused on anything but her ......i will finish this later tonight

May of this year my wife of 17 years committed suicide because of 4 years earlier her son also committed. She never recovered from losing her it was like watching someone dying of cancer. My only solace as they are add peace and can no longer suffer the mental pain they endured. The song speaks to my heart I listen to it all the time I miss him so much

I struggle with anxiety and depression and recently I lost my sister to cancer and I had a miscarriage a few weeks ago and trying so hard to stay positive I often listen to this song and cry

I hate how much I feel the want and need that pulls me. I'm married to the best man and friend there could ever be. I tried to do the... thing 8 years before I knew my husband. It's something that plagues me, no one can fix it. It's a part of me. I don't want the love of my life to find me. I don't want trauma for anyone who finds me, I wish there was a way no one had to suffer the visual of that nastiness and still take care of it
