Wrecked latency delay compensation - is still Ableton's "feature" in 22.
ОтветитьCan’t smoke and produce ? I quit
ОтветитьLove this!
Ответитьdamn the smoking one hit me hard. I just woke up, sitting here trying to avoid it cause of this and ill just confirmed it for me. Thank you dude.
ОтветитьFav’d this vid back in 2018…it’s still verrry relevant today. Thanks!
Ответить2021 and this is working really well, thank you a lot for your dedicated video :)
ОтветитьHave to come back to this every now and then when I start overthinking shit, thank you!
ОтветитьThe term superloop is so clutch...its something so many producers do but ive never heard a name for...
Ответить👌
ОтветитьGreat tips and never knew time management was so much needed for creative work.
ОтветитьGem... 🎧🎹👌🏻
ОтветитьHow practical and fundamental. Truly stemming from experience. Thank you... Applauded!
ОтветитьThanks bill
ОтветитьThank you so much!

ОтветитьWondering how many famous modern music artists are using this specific tips in their production?
ОтветитьThank you Mr. ill.Gates, I really like the sound fx you use in your music.
ОтветитьGreat tips! "You're tearing me apart Lisa!" For the win!
ОтветитьIt’s not over till someone kills a puppy
ОтветитьHands down best production video I've ever seen in my life.
ОтветитьWhat did you mean about audio tracks being slightly being out of time? Mine sound normal and I'm paranoid now haha
Ответитьtook so many notes from this video! looking forward to plugging these into my weekly schedule. thanks!
Ответитьamazing video, no bs. all of these tips i will use immediately! thnx
ОтветитьThank you so very much I am in the pre-study phase for a Diploma of Electronic Music Production and overheard one of my best teachers play your video
ОтветитьOldie but a goodie :)
ОтветитьI allways make my session done, after smoking! :DDD
ОтветитьTip #3 is super helpful with the monitor arm / vesa mount stuff. What do you do when you can't velcro the bottom of some controllers, such as Launchpad X, Launchpad Pro, etc... nothing sticks to rubber-bottomed midi controllers... thanks guys!
ОтветитьIf I didn’t smoke I wouldn’t get any music done 😂
Ответитьill.Gates is the fucking man. Great info across the board. Great dude. Thanks, DJTT!
ОтветитьIs that a SIGNED TOMMY WISEAU SHIRT in the corner!? My man xx
ОтветитьThank you for sharing all you insights!
ОтветитьIts egotistical to make good music? What kind of tip is this? I would say erase what this guy said and rewrite the rule to make the best you can make or FORGET ABOUT IT!
ОтветитьI love how comical he is while delivering really solid advice at the same time.
ОтветитьI think ill get a lot more from ti
his video when I'm less of an amateur. i need to learn how to download a plugin first
Thank you for making this video! This has helped me out a ton \m/
ОтветитьI aways find myself coming back to this video.
Ответить"you think your done.....BUT YOUR NOT", like a window into my mind.... haha
ОтветитьOh, I just loved hearing the "communicating emotion" part. I've been talking about that for years. I think it basically applies to all art. Even negative emotions and what some people would call "ugly" work, as long as it moves people in some way. That captured emotion can be also carried through the ages even after the original creator is long gone and I find that fascinating. :)
ОтветитьFantastic tips man, thanks a bunch!
ОтветитьI like to purchase some of your work products, but first I need to know if your infinite drum, and the APC 40 template work in Ableton suite 10.1 vers ??!! Thank you very much!
ОтветитьAnyone know where to get those 'monitor trees'? I can't seem to find them on Amazon and it's a bit of an unspecific search on google
ОтветитьExcellent
ОтветитьWonderful tutorial, thanks for sharing! Personally I find applying time management on music can kill the creative process. At least for me. It works great for managerial or operational tasks that “have to be done”, but in a good creative process it’s best to find a system (as in reserving a large time-slot and block any incoming communciation and social media on which I agree) so you can totally forget about time. So you allow yourself to lose time sort of speak. A good creative flow is inherently chaotic and in a different space and time zone.
I do believe your time management tricks can work however in the final mixing and mastering phase.
Anyway these are my personal findings. Besides from that I love your take on it and love that you’re using cooking as a synonym. Good luck, and keep on producing! Grts from Belgium
