I heard how you said you style long skirt with tshirts and immediately had to reply. I actually always wear long skirts. And I only have T-shirts. I wear the, together all the time. 😂 Basically jeans and tshirts. If your jeans were a loose maxi skirt.
ОтветитьThe front seams on the corset style tops are called princess seams for easy searching :) I also love josef seibel shoes for a funky historic look! Bonus is that they are super comfy
ОтветитьIt’s sad how people are acting like as if fast fashion/overconsumption only applies to cheaper stores… unfortunately it’s pretty much every corporate owned retail store that this happens with, they just want you to buy from their more expensive options instead
ОтветитьI have a wedding in October that is medieval themed, I wanna dress to theme but not completely to form, any suggestions
ОтветитьLove the shirt!
ОтветитьSorry what?! Leggings with pockets…?!
ОтветитьLove this breakdown! I didn’t realize how cool Knightcore is.
Growing up, I wanted to be Goth so badly. But I hate black. I realize now that what I was truly drawn to was the “gothic”, not “goth”— the dramatic medieval look of Gothic art. The jewel tones, the bell sleeves, the lace-up details of corsets and grommets in blouses. A bit witchy, a bit emo, but very romantic and medieval. Probably why I was drawn to TV shows like “Merlin” and BBC’s “Robin Hood”!
So now that I have realized these elements, I am drawing closer to my love for Whimsigoth and incorporating little nods to bohemian fantasy in my outfits!
Accessory motif suggestion: Bones/skulls. Bones are applicable no matter your period inspiration for fantasy. :3
ОтветитьOng I just found your channel and I'm in love with fairycore style
Ответитьnew here, but your room looks so cozy <3
ОтветитьNice! I was so confused about how/where to start shopping for pieces to get into a similar aesthetic!
ОтветитьOn topic of shoes riding boots look great and are great for riding but if you are going to a faire or just going to be walking a lot they are not the most comfortable
ОтветитьWhen you said knightcore my brain immediately went to nightcore 😭
ОтветитьI heard somewhere hobbits were meant to represent the english people, so take from that what you will
also how I'd describe it is "more earthy less ethereal cottage core"
This is exactly the kind of Things I want to see on the internet! You are sooo cool and chill! ❤ Really happy to found your channel ❤❤❤
ОтветитьI am right there with you on the Target leggings, especially the ones with the diagonal pintuck detailing. So comfortable and sturdy! I have a LOT of leggings and jeggings from Target and I wear them so much I've actually had to fix the split inner seams one a couple of them.😂 Wild Fable is also great for cheap and comfy midriff shirts that can layer under corsets and bodices for the Fantasycore aesthetic without the long sleeves, or under camisoles or slip dresses or overalls. (We're heading into summer swelter now, so definitely going for the cottons and linens. 😂)
ОтветитьFor hobbitcore, it's very influenced by english folk clothing since that's where tolkien was from, and thats reflected in the books (the shire is based on the midlands/warwickshire and other close shires, where tolkien lived)
Ответитьi love how goblincore is just an amalgamation of all of the stuff in this vid omg... thats why i love it sm
ОтветитьLove this, need sewing patterns for the velvet vest and tank and the blouses and also what about summer shoes? I guess I can probably figure it out! Thank you so much
ОтветитьIf you're interested in a boot that will last that's also a riding boot, i suggest the ariat dublin river boot, if you look that up you can find similar ones that are cheaper too
ОтветитьThank you for this one!
I am now in my cute-ish/lolita phase, but definitely looking for fantasycore inspiration because I love both styles.
It is hard a little bit to find something in this style in my city that is new, bc I am not really into thrifting (I mean second-hand mostly) (it makes me feel not really good since I am feeling energies a lot). But I am definitely know now what to look for.
:0 where'd you get that crown?
ОтветитьMake everything black or dark colors and you basically have witchycore too.
ОтветитьI also feel the same way about skirts feeling too modest sometimes, I have taken a necklace and looped it into the side of my skirt so it creates like a bunched slit, so it's asymmetrical. And isn't permanent so you can choose to have it long or with the faux slit.
ОтветитьA lot of those styles look a lot like German style from long ago
ОтветитьI noticed that these outfits also happen to be quite disability friendly! I wear knee braces, so I'm always looking for fun ways to style leggings and skirts, I want to wear more belt pouches as they seem like they'd be easier to use a cane with than purses and not weigh down my shoulders and back like backpacks do, and they all look very comfy and good for people with sensory problems!
ОтветитьWhen you said “knight core” I heard “nightcore” and thought about what kind of fashion would relate to highly sped up songs lol
ОтветитьMy personal style is all over the place. I mostly thrift my clothing, so I build up miscellaneous items to use some of my gorgeous pieces that'll have to be pried from my corpse one day.
My favorite piece has to be a stretch belt I got thrifting; it's cream, with an ornate double sided leaf buckle in an antique gold finish. I love pairing it with a nice long sleeved blouse underneath my turquoise sundress (it has an asymmetric hem that's longer on the sides, so it's my butterfly dress).
I just found your channel and I love it already. I have found I am very drawn to dressing as if I am the main character and if that is the main character of LOTRs then so be it!!! Keep up the great work!! I look forward to binging your other videos and looking forward to seeing new ones as well.
ОтветитьI said to my husband recently that I wanted to wear everyday cosplay, so I felt like I was dressed up but not everyone would know and he looked at me like I was mad but I'm so pleased to know I'm not alone!!! Xxx
Ответитьi love ur personality sm this is the first vid I'm watching from ur Channel how did i not see ur Channel before
Ответить19th English country folk
ОтветитьThe green lace up sweatshirt is giving Link
Ответить🎉 thank you so much for doing this, it was great to see all the hashtag terms, definitely loved the knightcore sweater grommet piece!
ОтветитьJust found this channel and I love it!!!! Don't know where you've been all my life. I would love more on hobbitcore and elfcore. Specifically LoTR elf. Can't wait for next video.
ОтветитьTrying to jump out of my comfort zone which tends to just hover in emo/alt territory. Always loved the slowing living clothing. From linen to velvet. Been dipping into dark whimsigoth as it lends well to my band tees.
ОтветитьThis video is so cute!! That lace up hoodie is such a dream I can’t believe they don’t have it on the site anymore! Also thanks for mentioning my Fantasycore video I appreciate that 🥹💕✨🧺
ОтветитьAwesome video!! Thanks!!
Turns out I'm not awkward and weird.
I'm a whimsygoth cottagecore granny witch in jeans!!!!
😂😂😂
Loved the video ! You are among my greatest inspirations when it comes to fantasying my style ✨️
Ответить✨Kewl✨ 😊 I never hear anyone else say it like me😅
Idk why I always wanna say cute and cool at the same time and it just mushes together nicely lol
Love these looks
Ответитьmore SCOTTY!!!🎉🎉
ОтветитьWhat! People yell at people outside cosplay events? That is so stupid. You all are using your imagination, engaging in a social activity, and having good-old fashion fun! Advise from the "other" kind of old folks (me); you can't fix stupid. Ignore them and keep doing it!
ОтветитьThank you so much for putting all of this together! I love seeing all the ways you used "modern" clothing to make these asthetics work! I'm not a great sewer, so this has been so helpful not having to create things from scratch but still making it work!!!! 🎉 Love your style and videos, thank you for bringing us along and inspiring us!
ОтветитьI just wanted to point out the video has eleventyeleven views right now.
ОтветитьI enjoyed your video but please, respectfully, can you not edit/move your camera every time you move your hands or say a new concept? It makes your video hard to watch. I know people zoom in to make a point but this is way too much. 🙏
ОтветитьGermany really inspires my hobbitcore looks. I would say 80% of my fantasy core outfits are from Poland and Germany haha
ОтветитьThank you so much for this vid✨ I lobve cosplaying and going to fantasy events but I really wanted to add some fantasy to my daily look🧚♀
ОтветитьThis is the video I’ve been waiting for!!! I’ve always had a whimsical style, even as I shifted it around with changing fashion over the years. But I’ve lost some of the fun elements over time, and you are the perfect inspiration to recapture my fanciful/whimsical side in daily wear!✨🌸🍂🔮
