"You can always be thinner, look better"...
Ответить"Don't tell me you enjoy working with children" is an underrated line
ОтветитьHe didn't kill her because he didn't find any of the flaws he was looking for, which is because he has standarts for killing, like a code.
Ответить"Maybe"
"I dont know"
"Not really"
Maybe, I don't know, not really.
LMAO
Chloë is so cute.
ОтветитьTwo things. The way he completely deflates when she doesn’t know who Ted Bundy is.
And the way he keeps severed heads and power tools barely hidden around his apartment.
I can’t believe he didn’t sleep with her. He asked his assistant out, but hesitates to enjoy a night with her.
ОтветитьDang why this scene hit so hard now 💔😞
Ответить“Who’s Ted Bundy?”
…”forget it.”😂
This girl was just so innocent that even Patrick couldnt kill her lol
Jean was the only good person in the entire film. She is so authentic and human.
Ответить"I don't think I can control myself..."
Poor Jean thinks he is referring to the fact that although he is engaged, he has another woman in his home and might be tempted to sleep with her.
He is NOT talking about that kind of temptation haha.
If Patrick Bateman decided to spare Billy solely because of her kindness then he’s not a psychopath because it would indicate he had to have sympathy
ОтветитьHow would the nailer fire? There's no air
Ответить"So do you like Huey Lewis and the News?"
Ответитьa good word of warning to these young attractive girls today who fall for that nice looking guy . who thows on the charm. he can be a murderer lol
ОтветитьWhy would anyone watch a movie like this? Doesn't life have enough troubles? Do we need to make things worse by polluting our minds with hollywood garbage?
ОтветитьShe left because she didn't want to get bruised.. 😂😂
ОтветитьTf was he gonna do with the nail gun.wasntbelectric and i saw no air compresser or air hose lol
Ответить🇿🇦 This is LOVE ❤️ 😂😂😂
ОтветитьIronic that this female actress actually gave a legit BJ to somebody on film. I believe it was to completion, too. I mean, actresses have done way worse. Charlotte Gainsbourg was graphically penetrated by 2 black guys in a threesome for a film. Still, Sevigny would've fit Bates' profile if her character's personality was based off of her actual life experience of being a w**re.
ОтветитьThis is not a horror movie, not a psychological thriller analysing serial killer mind - nothing of the kind
It’s an extreme satire and a dark comedy
Watch the interview with the director and Christian Bale
one of the great "villains" (anti-hero?) of cinema
ОтветитьIt makes me laugh how he made up his mind of not killing her when she had no idea who Ted bundy was but quickly changes his mind as soon as she puts the spoon on the table as if the only reason why he wants to kill her now is because she ruined the table 😂😂
ОтветитьI come back to this scene so much. It's great directing and acting. So much can be implied. It's so simple from Jeans side but complex from Patrick Batemans side.
ОтветитьYeah, we knew deep down that she cares about him..🥺
ОтветитьDo you think it was the phone call that stopped him from murdering her or genuinely held back?
ОтветитьI honestly don’t think he didn’t kill her because he respected her or felt some sort of genuineness from her. I think he only let her go because Evelyn called and killed the mood and temporarily snapped him back to his “reality”.
ОтветитьChristian Bale is such an amazing actor and this film was our first exposure to him🔥. Definitely top 5 favorite actors of all time for me👍
ОтветитьThis made me goosebumps cuz my real name is Jean
ОтветитьThere no killing btw 😂
ОтветитьI get why he was upset with being super forgettable to a lot of his colleagues, but frankly this girl isn't gonna forget him. For me this one girl would outweigh all the rest. If you got a girl by your side, other people forgetting you couldn't matter less.
ОтветитьThis character makes Bane seem like a real Hero.
ОтветитьShe'd be a goner if she turned to look at him.
ОтветитьWhy Patric doesn't try to kill his girlfriend who is called phone???
Ответитьi thought she was absolutley gorgeous so natural looking as well.
ОтветитьThe only person he spared.
ОтветитьJean :')
ОтветитьChloe Sevingne ohhhh so fappable. Bill Henriksens fun wifey
Ответить"you can always be thinner".....what an outstanding line 🤣🤣
ОтветитьPsychopath has become inspiration to now generation. Something is going wrong with them. They are frustated
ОтветитьI remember my gf before she broke up with me and would start sobbing uncontrollably saying she was a bad person she’d do or say so many awful things to me but I never struck back at her I never stooped to her level and I just knew she had a rough childhood and I just knew she was in pain. This reminds me of her relationship with her I was soo good and kind she eventually self imploded and broke it off she couldn’t make me be the bad guy so she shoved me one day and held hands with another guy to piss me off in the end she told everyone I beat her up. Because she couldn’t face what she did.
ОтветитьIn the book he doesn't kill her because she really is great at her job and she's so great he says he will most likely end up marrying her and she would be very difficult to replace. He is married to her. I'm pretty sure it's mentioned in High Fidelity IIRC.
It's also important to remeber that the Patrick we see in the movie and the descriptions of him we get in the book aren't actually him. It's how he wants his audience to see him. Handsome, smart, wealthy, shredded, etc etc. That's not how the world perceives him. The world sees his weak weasle like character and that's why he's never listened to, taken seriously, or remembered. Bateman is a super dork ... all of this we're seeing and getting is his own internal dialog and perception of what he wants us to think he is. This is who he thinks the audience would think is cool
Remeber he's always trying to fit in
Jean thought this was a romcom
