I love windows, you really need a good design team for where the ports should place. Still need to learn 'MEANINGFUL USE'. HDMI 3 port should be used instead of min display port. Let's say, you place two USB C ports on both sides rather than on one side, it makes much easier for cord management. Every details matter.

I would like an 11-inch slim windows laptop resembling my HP Stream 11 but much faster and with a longer battery life. I think that windows 11 on ARM could fulfil this dream of mine.

Great video but I would've like to see them talk about it like a presentation. This feels kinda cringe

Does it have open bootloader and so on, so that I can install Linux bare metal on it, potentially as dual boot?
Can I upgrade the storage (is it e.g. PCIe Y.0 x4 M.2)?
I would consider buying 2 of them if it can run FreeDesktop Linux properly, for my x-platform development.

Are the usb-c ports usb4/thunderbolt so that i can power the device and send display port alt-mode output and establish usb upstream hub connectivity all over a single cable connection to usb4/thunderbolt enabled desktop display? In other words the same as you can do with modern laptops.

The kids only see this machine for playing Fortnite or emulator.

Can it run Crysis?

Great device for the money.

How much power does it use? I am considering it as a replacement for my existing lower power system but I don't see any power usage figures and the 90 watt power supply makes me wonder.

I love the content of Microsoft videos, however, I hate the very scripted feel. Much like a call center, hhaha. Microsoft please get creative with your videos and STOP scripting Smart-Person / Dumb-Person. Microsoft has some very creative people... just lacking in content creation.

Ordered mine today, unfortunately it isn't available in the Netherlands. But the German Microsoft store is kind enough to deliver. And pretty fast since tracking shows it is expected to arrive tomorrow. 😃

I am a student studying computer technology in Japan. I have a question before order one for myself: do I have to return the device like the Apple Silicon Developer Transition Kits, or can I keep it for myself forever?
