I couldn't help but notice the Pearl Eliminator Redline (Lefty) Pedal, probably the best pedal ever made.
ОтветитьWhat pedal is on that kit?
ОтветитьI will Enjoy mine and (you) enjoy yours! Do not covet mine haha :p
Ответить🌊🌴He's the best 🌴🌊.
ОтветитьSometimes one is lucky enough to “meet” their celebrity heroes or people that they look up to, but there is also the exception where you find out what an ass your favorite can be. One of the true legends of the kit is Ian Paice and it is such a joy to hear him talk drums , places he’s been, and his expertise like a real person. Very good show, my friend
ОтветитьWas a kid, heroes, Bonham, Paice, Baker and the rest. Wanted a the same as those fantastic drummers. Still got my Ludwigs 52 years on and I fxxxxxg love em. Super classics and a lm402
ОтветитьLAN. Thanks for sharing the pearl drum kit asome set. I like to see you on a Ludwig drum kit similar to the one in the 70’s . You rock.
ОтветитьWhat's the white square on the inside of ians beater head?
ОтветитьFã demais desse super batera Ian Paice👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
ОтветитьI've had four PEARL kits in my life - all the way from a cheap Maxwin in the early 80s; a fiberglass/maple hybrid; a custom maple monster and now a vintage Japanese birch DLX. I'm not going to say that PEARL are the best drums in the World, just that they are my favourite drums in the World. P.S. I have been using PAISTE cymbals for all that time too!
PEARL & PAISTE - a match made in Heaven!!!
It's ridiculous that so many people hate on Pearl, yet when you question their reasoning you find that the extent of their experience with Pearl drums is somewhere along the lines of "I saw an Export kit once and I didn't like it, so Pearl sucks!" Such narrow minded ignorance...
Beautiful drums Mr. Paice!!! I enjoyed the video!
The hoops on the snare a drilled? for what?
ОтветитьIan Paice sounds 1000 times better when he plays Ludwig Drum. Now he plays some soullless japanese yogurt cups.
What a pitty!!
Ian played on Ludwig drums in the early days, and there is a better sound on them, Pearl is "middle of the 1980" Everything should sound like funk then, even rockgroups.
ОтветитьIf I saw correctly, he uses coated Ambassadors on top and clear Ambassadors at the bottom.
ОтветитьA beautiful talented and humble man, the heartbeat of Deep Purple.
ОтветитьGrew up on this guy , big part of my life. Thank you!
ОтветитьYes!!! History DP!!! Ian Paice and his Famous kit Pearl + Randy May system!!! Mic.Ian play Forever U History Rock !!!
ОтветитьMay miking drum mics internally.
ОтветитьNo nonsense talk through with the emphasis on facts. However many historic kits he has sat behind, the one built to his specification and satisfaction is why he’s playing Pearl today. Quite a few nostalgic comments below which harken back to his previous set-ups; he’s obviously a man who innovates and applies his considerable experience to both what and how he plays.
Ответить🙏🏼master!
Ответитьcool
ОтветитьGod God God Drummer !
Ответитьoh I love that kit, that snare looks brutal ! Ian's one of the very best, ferocious speed around the kit...
ОтветитьNo Tom mount ISO System - OLD SKOOL!
ОтветитьThanks Ian appreciate an in depth look at drummers drum sets, I am a Pearl man myself, especially the hardware which is very important to me. Ian your in my top 5 drummers of all time the smoothest, fastest and just very tasteful drumming thank you! Brad Baldwin
Ответитьthank you great drum master for your sincerily and school , the same that budy rich and the amazing bonzo for all the drummers !!!!! I hope that you still have the ludwig drum set and paiste cymbals that you used in made in japan 1972 ? was 206 series paiste and a maple ludwig series ? was not the real sizes 26x16 " , 16 x 18 "- 18 x 18" - 14 x 12 "toms , and cymbals 22 " thin ride , 18 " crash , 20 " crash , 15 " hi hats sound age 206 series ????? was the same sizes that used bonzo in the madison square garden 1973 with the ludwig plastic vista series ? all the toms looks more large and big in the videos , sorry ....you dont like to do some tour with that drum set again of the made in japan Mr Ian ???? that could be great in my opinion !!!! the same for roger glover with that old bass raiken baiker and ritchy blackmore , we miss the MK II , rest in peace for Lord ( !!!!
ОтветитьEvery drum maker thinks they have the best drums.... and every player who has their favorite kit thinks it's the best.... It's the classic Fender/Gibson/Ibanez.......argument the guitar guys have. Pearl makes very good drums. Other guys make very good drums too. Find what you like and roll with it.
Ответитьyou rock Ian. PBM/300
ОтветитьNOTHING tops his ludwig "made in japan" drums
ОтветитьWhat is the difference between red line eliminator and normal (black) eliminator?
