... I was locking for I.S. Lock (Video) gh5 at the gh6 - do you know where this setting for stabilizer is gone?
ОтветитьDo you know if the GH5 mark II has Lock IS? I can only see Boost IS but it doesn't work as well as the lock in the old body
ОтветитьThts well explained but whats e-stabilization? And whether to use it or not on what situations?
ОтветитьDoes the IS lock work only when the stabilization is turned on? There are separate settings for those and I can see that you can turn on the IS lock even when the stabilization is turned off.
ОтветитьVery Cool. Thanks
ОтветитьThat explains it. Handheld as a locked shot with or without ex. Tele Conv. Mode on.
ОтветитьI didn't realise this function - thanks man!
ОтветитьNice 👍
ОтветитьI've shot some short films that are on my channel with a GH5 and had no idea about IS. I knew about the regular stabilization but never IS. Thank god it was on for all my shots!
ОтветитьI bought gh5 in 2021 because of this feature as well as the great general IBIS.
With the IS lock, I can in post use warp stabilzer and set no motion, and it become a dead still tripod shot. And you only crop like 2-4%. It is super useful. If you are doing a low budget commerical, you can speed up a lot and use less gear. For example overhead shot for food and product, normally you need set up something and put camera there. It takes time and need more gears. With this IS lock and warp stablizer in post. You get a perfect still overhead shot. This is the feature that I call game changer. Not 8k or something else.
the colors are so good oon this video, what was is shot on
ОтветитьWhat would happen to image if you panned, tilted, or walked with camera whilst having IS video lock on?
ОтветитьWOW!!!
Ответитьvery helpful! thanks
ОтветитьMy GH5 IS Lock is greyed out and saying item in menu not available....Any ideas on what is wrong...?
ОтветитьIt's good that you mention IS lock is only for stationary shots. People will say you can use it with pans, but i've found it occasionally fights the motion when beginning to move the camera on a tripod.
ОтветитьThanks Buddy Very Very helpful , such a short cut...
ОтветитьCan you tell me which lens used for this comparison? Thanks.
Ответитьwhere's than in Iceland specifically?
ОтветитьNice tip! Thanks guys!
ОтветитьHow did I not know about this feature? I just tested it out and sat there in awe for like ten minutes.
ОтветитьGreat channel guys am very excited to find GH5 enthusiastic videographer's
ОтветитьHolyshyt i m having a game changer in my hand without really knowing what it was and had it off all the time until i watch your clip. It s sick
ОтветитьDude. This is INSANE!!! Amazing. I’m traveling soon this will be perfect to get just that stable shot I need for handheld establishing shots of locations. Amazing. Thank you so much bro!!!
ОтветитьI was on the fence on buying the GH5 because i thought the IS was good, but i've got very shaky hands...this is a massive thing for me, thanks.
ОтветитьWhat are the actual settings you used for the sequence where you speak facing the camera? (not talking about the sea shots). Thanks and good work!
ОтветитьGreat video. I came here because I saw this setting in my G9 and had no idea. Yesterday I was shooting surfers close up and panning a telephone lens to track them. With LOCK on, it was causing some major problems as it [locked, let go, re-locked] constantly. It created a sort of stammering effect. Now I know why. Now I also know why I can be zoomed in to 800mm (FF) with my 100-400mm lens and still pull a locked off shot whilst not being locked off (on a tripod). The G9's 6.5 stops of IBIS is no joke. It's amazing. But gotta know when to use it. I do now. Thanks again.
ОтветитьYeah! GH5 is good, but what do you think about Fujifilm?
ОтветитьWHAT LENS YOU USE IN THE VIDEO ? pls !
ОтветитьWill i.s. video lock come to the other Lumix platforms or is this just a GH5 feature? Anyone know. I am pretty sure the gx9 has i.s. lock also, just wondering if a firmware update might push out for the G85 and GX85 with i.s. lock feature unlocked on these camera's...
ОтветитьHa ha...Pana's gift that keeps giving.
ОтветитьWhat did you film this with? Not the example but the parts with you in LA. The footage is fantastic!
ОтветитьHi dan! I have a question. Inhave the gh5 with the metabones xl, and i use thensigma 18-35 and the rokinon 85mm 1.5. Whenever i open the to their max aperture i get some purple fringing, anyway to avoid this?
Ответитьi also love this feature!!!
ОтветитьI just can’t decide on this or the Sony a7iii. The autofocus has me leaning towards the Sony.....for wedding filming and couple pictures
ОтветитьDoes it need a Panasonic IS lens to achieve the IS lock.
ОтветитьIs there a reason why you would not always leave it on?
ОтветитьThank you for this tip. I have a G9, and this works great. I set it to the front button. Thus, I can shoot through the EVF, and switch on the LOCK while rolling. Amazing, it is a game changer.
ОтветитьDo you use the E stabilization on top of the IBIS in your videos?
ОтветитьWhat is the difference between dual is2 and is lock? I recently started using the setting and it’s pretty damn amazing. I don’t have a dual is 2 Lens.
ОтветитьI literally just got back from Iceland and really wish I knew I had this while there. Thanks for the tip!
ОтветитьWhat lens did you use for this video?
Ответитьis this available on the g85? (or g81 whatever)
ОтветитьWhat did you film the intro on?
ОтветитьYou can pan and Tilt I do and get great results but I do so very slowly.
ОтветитьFavorite settings should be HLG
Ответитьshut up and take my money...
ОтветитьWhy doesn’t it just stabilize with IS turned? It needs a lock?
ОтветитьOMG THIS HELPS THANK YOU
